The thing about dementia, it sneaks its way in there are different types and can present different. I agree, I'm sure his team began to notice things and ignored them so they could continue to ride his coat tails but I don't think he's suffering. The brain is a complex thing and his isn't working correctly anymore so what we perceive as one way, they don't, they can't.

Ladies, I fully understand what you are saying, and pretty much agree with all of it. I'm not a woman, so can't see it totally from your point of view. Yes, I fully understand mistreatment and taking advantage of people. I hope you know that I am in no way defending him. I read stories all the time regarding crime victims and survivors. And my thinking is repeated by a lot of them. Not all. At least an equal number feel as you ladies do. But, to me, wanting some sort of punishment over and above what he has now, to me seems to feel like retribution.

I am also guessing that my age is playing a part here. I am quite sure that, in days long gone, my thinking was most likely exactly the same as yours. I seem to remember, from somewhere, "Fry the bastard," lol. Don't even remember where that came from. But life has a way of mellowing you out.

When y'all get to 80, think back. You might say, "So THAT is what that old fart was talking about," lol.

Yikes….they should know better in a place like that. And I agree with Vicky that they’re hooooot but yes they need some sandwiches
