I used to follow Leeds until I moved to the States and it got REALLY hard to follow football until suddenly they started showing the games live again on cable TV...
As a Londener in my history, I route for Arsenal but I hate the way Wenger went out and the recent troubles with Koscieny...

I'd have to say at this stage I route for Leicester... no apparent reason but I followed them like everyone else coming up the tables.
They are either going to terrific with Rodgers or implode...

Otherwise I just like a good game and any team BUT MCFC

A lot of football players are now overpaid babies... love the game but much like the NBA here, there's just too much money involved.... how on earth is Neymar worth all that money with his injury and party habits? I don't get it....
Sterling rubs me the wrong way too for some reason...

In a move that stunned me I have to say Wayne Rooney leaving the states to manage kind of surprised me..... he wasn't playing half bad here...

Unfortunately this a big problem in soccer now, because a team for to buy a normal player, no top player, it is forced to spend no less 25/40 M. Until a few years ago with 100M you made a good high-middle ranking team.In Europe a team now in addition to dealing with a crazy transfer market even with the finacial fair play, and this is a big problem especially in my country, Italy, when we are behind with revenues, particularly TV rights, than in UK with PL, or for those teams they want to compete at high levels in CL. So now or u're a big team such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG or Man. City or others, that you can spend as much as you want every year, or you have to follow the model of the Ajax that is investing in their young players, making them grow well and then selling them at the right time. I like very much the second methods although it takes a long time to get results, but the mentality of the italians supporters is totally wrong and their don't accept this, they want to spend a lot and the results come immediately, but not ever spending a lot means spending well.

Manchester City... 5 - 0 winners...
Manchester United 4-0 winners..
Liverpool 4-1 winners...

Those scores aren't that surprising I guess BUT... Chelsea being on the end of Manchester United's 4 goals is...
I'd love to see United do well NOT because I am a United fan but I do like the attitude of their Norwegian manager after so many big names... but do they really have that much class?

For we fans of others teams no :lmao: It's a challenge for his come in Italy, for win here (and he won yet), especially the CL with the team as lost more finals, and he bought for this, though i think he isn't more appropriate for play in Italy, the last season i seen played better in CL as in Serie A. But for the Serie A it was worth it, for TV and also at a technical level to have a top player than Ronaldo here, and to return to having top players as in the past, when they were here. But the work it's long. I hope this year we have a Serie A more contend than last season.

The Rowdies shut out Memphis 5-0 Saturday. Memphis has dropped to 17 one above last place Swope Park(I have no idea where that is) in the East, Rowdies remain in second behind Red Bulls II.

I actually went rokker.
England looked great going forward quickly - Sterling was awesome in first half. Again their defence was poor - Alexander-Arnold had awful game.
To be honest they were a bit lucky to win - Kane's goal was poor goalkeeping - let it in through his legs, and the own goal - really.................
Sancho looked good, but they didn't get the ball to him often enough.
Kosovo are a neat and tidy side - if they hadn't given England a couple of soft goals it would have been closer.
Here was certainly a sin worth sinning and I applied myself with characteristic vigour to its practice

Not to mention a soft penalty that was then missed.... why do England have problems from the spot? :fail:

To be fair - Kane did score 2 against Bulgaria.
Having said that, I have seen him miss 2 at St Mary's - the other one against Saints was much worse - a Row Z job

Back to the weekend's Premier League results .......

Liverhampon v Sports Direct Utd - home win by 3
Brighton v Burnley - away by 1
Man Utd v Leicester - draw.
Sheff Utd v Saints - draw (possibly away win)
Spurs v Palace - draw if Zaha plays, otherwise home win by 2
Wolves v Chelski - home win
Norwich V Man City - away by 3
Bournemouth v Everton - draw
Watford v Arsenal - controversy here - home by 2.

After the weekend I'll give you an assessment of the season so far ........ and why Liverhampton won't win PL

Well that went well!!!!!!!!
Only total surprise was Man City losing at Norwich. Saints deserved to win at Blades (and Sharp deserved his red card for his truly awful challenge on Armstrong - legally I think its called GBH).

By the way (almost forgot) - tonight's came - West Ham by 1 (if anyone cares).

Saints v Bournemouth - draw
Leicester v Spurs - draw
Burnley v Norwich - home win by 2
Everton v Sheff Utd - home win by 2
Man City v Watford - home win by 3
Newcastle v Brighton - home win by 1
Palace v Wolves - away by 2
West Ham v Man Utd - home win by 1
