A lot of football players are now overpaid babies... love the game but much like the NBA here, there's just too much money involved.... how on earth is Neymar worth all that money with his injury and party habits? I don't get it....
Sterling rubs me the wrong way too for some reason...
In a move that stunned me I have to say Wayne Rooney leaving the states to manage kind of surprised me..... he wasn't playing half bad here...
Unfortunately this a big problem in soccer now, because a team for to buy a normal player, no top player, it is forced to spend no less 25/40 M. Until a few years ago with 100M you made a good high-middle ranking team.In Europe a team now in addition to dealing with a crazy transfer market even with the finacial fair play, and this is a big problem especially in my country, Italy, when we are behind with revenues, particularly TV rights, than in UK with PL, or for those teams they want to compete at high levels in CL. So now or u're a big team such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG or Man. City or others, that you can spend as much as you want every year, or you have to follow the model of the Ajax that is investing in their young players, making them grow well and then selling them at the right time. I like very much the second methods although it takes a long time to get results, but the mentality of the italians supporters is totally wrong and their don't accept this, they want to spend a lot and the results come immediately, but not ever spending a lot means spending well.
