Rokkerr, better than Skype is "FaceTime" now works on Mac's and WOW on iPhone G4. See vid at http://www.apple.com/iphone/ "Blows us away!" For Mac go to Apple and get the program in order to connect. Best part is FREE for now anywhere in the World where there is WiFi. iPhone app finds free WiFi nearest you. We just park in most libraries, Starbucks and so many more parking lots and hook in. Not like back woods of OR. LOL!

I like how 350 odd contestants are NOT listed alphabetically. Why the hell should we list them alphabetically and make it easy for people.

the good thing about skype is they allow computer to phone calls (land lines and cellphones) all over north america , even the rest of the world, but check on Skype what's the cost? various rates may apply.

How it works is you need a webcam with a microphone, buy skype credits, then in skype you type in the phone number including regional code and skype does the rest of the work.

its basically just voice over ip.

But for 15$ you get a zillion hours. i bought some last year and i still have about 6$ left of time and use it pretty often, i think its like 2¢ per minute or something in North America. Calling Australia might cost a bit more.

Some other instant messengers like yahoo's are starting to do that, but skype is more reliable imho.
