I'm now busy embarrassing adultfriendfinder as much as possible on twitter. They still refuse to stop using my picture and fake profile to lure guys into joining and upgrading. I have asked them in every way possible to stop using my pics. I am not Groovy232 and I don't live in El Paso, or any other place. Do you know they tweet with fake profile pics? Like they were just using bibijones pics this week? So if you see any more pornstar fake profiles on there let me know.... even grab a screencap and send it to me if you don't mind.... so i can embarrass them publicly some more....

there are several more sites I can list that complain about them, endless lists of frustrated pissed off people who feel like they have been ripped off.... but they continue making millions of dollars a year because people keep giving them their credit card numbers....

using my fucking pictures to lure them in!!!!!!!!!!!! Even deliberately and methodically contacting men as groovy232 asking them to upgrade their membership to my level so that "I" can meet them.

After reading several of these complaints, I have to think, are these people really that stupid? Not that they deserve to get ripped off after signing up, expecting to maybe meet like minded people and to get what they pay for, but, "...I have renewed my subscription 3 times...," once for 3 months and twice for 1 year? And he's complaining about lousy service?

And, #2? Complaining about lousy/no service, and then "I am paying $29 every month?" I don't know what credit cards these folks are using, but as soon as a site gives you the run-around, you call your CC and report fradulent charges. You don't keep paying them - for two years?

Now, having said that, why isn't someone complaining to the authorities? http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx A simple web search brings this site up, which I have used before.

Yes, I have had problems such as this from other sites, maybe 3 times over the years. But, I report it to my CC company, they cancel the account and give me a new number, problem solved. And then I filed complaints with IC3. And, DO NOT use debit cards to sign up for web memberships or purchases from websites you haven't verified. Coverage is getting better for debit card fraud, but you stil could lose your money. Use a CC to get the most protection.

Twitter Admits ‘Unfollow Bug’ Exists

Having some trouble with Twitter lately? The company has recently confirmed a “follow bug” that causes some users to automatically stop receiving updates from the feeds they follow.

The admission first came from a Twitter spokesperson speaking to The Telegraph. “This is a bug, and our team is working to fix it,” the spokesperson said.

Twitter explained further in a post on the site’s support page. If you follow a user, that person may not immediately appear under your account’s “following” tab. But if you click on their profile page, the blue box will indicate that yes, you are following that person.

Many Twitter users have long complained about the unfollowing problem, but it wasn’t officially acknowledged by the company until Wednesday.

Twitter has ensured its users it is “working to resolve” the bug.

I never guessed that this is so dramatic.
I have a problem to understand the difference of things freeones is distributing & the sites like tubes&Co + Adult Finder&Co is doing.
Am I right to say that freeones has approved (legal) content and tubes&Co + Adult Finder&Co stolen (illegal) stuff?

& Vicky, did you ever calculate how much time & energy you spend to protect & defend your biz?
Isn't it useful to ask a lawyer if it is pofitable to sue them or not?

Not Seeing Twitter Mentions on Your Android or iPhone? This May Be Why http://mashable.com/2012/04/03/twitter-iphone-bug/

I look at my Twitter feed on a variety of system: desktop, tablets and smartphones. So it took me a little while to notice that the Connect tab on my iPhone’s Twitter app was frozen in time. Eventually, with responses two days old on my Apple iPhone 4, I followed the somewhat dusty path to Twitter’s help forum where I found proof that it wasn’t just me. Twitter for the iPhone and Android has a problem with showing you Twitter content about you.

In a Support post entitled simply: “Not seeing @mentions under Connect tab on Twitter for iPhone and Twitter for Android”, Twitter support said the service is “experiencing an issue where some users are unable to see their @mentions under the Connect tab”.

Twitter doesn’t say why this is happening. It happened to me before I updated to iOS 5.1. In fact, I updated to the new Apple’s mobile OS, hoping that that would fix the problem. I also tried turning on and off my phone. Nothing worked. My other Twitter tabs: Direct messages and my Twitter stream (under home) worked just fine. I am, by the way, using Twitter 4.0 for the iPhone.

Twitter says the problem exists on iOS 4 and Android devices, so it’s not app- or platform-specific. As soon as I mentioned the problem on Twitter, I get a bunch of responses indicating that I was not alone. I’ve asked Twitter for comment on how wide-spread the problem is and will update this post with its response.



While we wait for Twitter to provide an official fix, here are the steps you can take right now to get your Mentions going again. It does involve removing your Twitter accounts from your phones and adding them back in again. Not a big deal, really.

To remove your account on the iPhone, go to Settings, scroll down to Twitter, find your account and highlight your name by selecting it. A “Delete Account” option will appear below. Select it, confirm and then add your account back in just the way you did when you first got your iPhone.

The process is similar on your Android device: Your Twitter account info is under the App settings. Remove the account and then add it back in.

This worked for me and it should for you, too. Then all will be right in your mobile Twitter world.



Update: Twitter representatives would not comment on the scope of the problem. However, the company has posted a fix for Android phones. Twitter promised to update the post when an iPhone fix becomes available.
