If teachers want to do porn in their spare time let them.....Who cares? Right now, for example, they are off all Summer and not getting paid and got all kinds of time on their hands. Maybe they need the extra money or maybe they just want to try it just to see how the business is or whatever who are we to judge? Who knows, if they are really good at it they may be the next VNA babe. There's always time for a career change (I've had 3 of them myself) and if they really like it they can blow off teaching all together!!

I've never been a fan of companies digging into my private life. I've read that companies are now asking you if you smoke, and not hiring you if you say yes. They justify it by saying smokers result in higher health costs, reduced productivity and lower attendance. Another case of "We'll give you health insurance, but we don't expect you to use it."

And now they're asking you for your Facebook password. This is SO wrong. Not that I use Facebook that much, but they would never get passwords to any of my personal accounts. Will they next ask me if I am a member of any porn sites? I would say "No, just one Army site."

What I am doing on my own personal time, when you are not paying me, is my business and none of yours!

Halas' pornographic past was exposed in March of this year when students at Haydock Intermediate School told school administrators that they had found a string of online porn videos featuring the attractive 31-year-old instructor.

After much deliberation, the Oxnard School District voted to have Halas removed from her teaching post on April 18. She is currently appealing that decision with lawyer Richard Schwab.

Halas has a much chance of overturning this as a teacher caught boinking one of their students has at being reinstated. It's referred to as "moral turpitude" or the lack there of and/or the other tla called PTA.

Actually, porn work does fly in the face of Christian values and tenets. But how many that go to church are just as "perverted" once they get home. The issue seems to be that she is just a little too close to the church itself. I certainly agree with her argument, but there generally is a "line in the sand" somewhere in every business that people shouldn't cross, even if their transgressions don't actually violate any of the rules where they work.

In this case, we all know that teachers everywhere have been fired for their porn work. Problem is, the kids would never know if the "grown-ups" would just keep their yaps shut and go about their business. Too damn many people think they have some God-given right to dictate what others do on their own, private time. And, usually, the complainers are no angels themselves.

To me, it's like the current trend to not hire smokers. I am astounded that a company can deny employment because of what someone does on their own, private time.

The thing that always fascinates me about the "got fired for being in Porn" stories is that someone in the Moral Majority had to have crossed the, as Walt says "line in the sand" and blows the whistle.

The hypocrites who live in glass houses had better hope that someone isn't sniffing around their tossed out garbage. They could wind up in the unemployment line with the ones who they put there.

Could be Mike, or could be just one of her older students or fellow teacher looking for porn on the internet, recognizing her and blabbing to his friends.

Porn people don't always have it easy. Sure it looks fun and you get to meet like-minded folks, but unless you're 100% dedicated to porn and not doing anything else especially with under age kids, best to keep a low profile and don't mix the 2 worlds. That was an error in judgement on her part.

She'll be ostracized by the church and will end up on the sex offenders registry.

Nowadays with Facebook being everywhere and Google able to take someone's picture and find someone's name and more, it's even more complicated to keep your private life private.
