Yeah Rokkerr,I don't know what to make of Jenna now. She's really wandered into bizzaro world. Hope she can make it out of whatever trouble she's in. A way different person when I met her in her prime in '96-97 in Chicago.

Don't know what "gusting" is (typo, maybe?), but having "kinda" been there, I try these days to not be too harsh on people who get caught up in drink and drugs.

I have certainly done my share of both, altho I was lucky enough to not get wrapped up in heroin. I did do my share of acid, and speed and pot, tho. And many times not even knowing what I was taking, simply trusting my friends when they said "it'll be good."

I consider myself so very lucky to have lived thru it all pretty much unscathed - traffic stops (drunk,) motorcycle accidents (should have died 3 or 4 times,) but never getting "hooked" on cocaine or any other, except maybe psychologically on alcohol and pot. Most of us don't realize how freaking easy it is to get trapped on that treadmill of "sex, drugs and rock and roll." We also have no idea how hard it is to get off of that treadmill. It pretty much requires a complete change of life, including new friends, and maybe moving to a new place to live. But first, we have to wake up to the need for change. I'm sure Vicky can (and has) told us about her early life and how she got away from all that.

My ex-GF used to always say, "it is a choice you make." She seems to have forgotten her own life. But, yes, it is a choice to try that first beer. It is a choice to hit that first joint that your "friend" offers you that first snort of cocaine, that first hit of the crack pipe. But it is not a choice to not know how bad it is for you. It is not a choice to get hooked on it to the point you can't put it down and walk away.

So, I won't criticize Jenna, but instead will wish her the best of luck in conquering her demons.

Unlike my friend Walt my upbringing and life has been a squeaky clean ride with the exception of CocaCola and pretty women. I have many friends and family with rocky pasts so i get it and fault no one for their pasts. People who live in glass houses.....I consider myself to be very lucky that I never got caught up in any type of harmful lifestyle. I also wish Jenna well and hope that she gets back on track. This life ain't easy sometimes. Hopefully she gets it together soon.
