Now that we are on the new server with php 5.6 we hv a whole new world of template possibilities open to us!

If anyone has a template they love or want to suggest post it here! I just want it to be more mobile friendly than this one. This one is ok but u still have to pinch and zoom which I want to get away from.

ok well the first thing is to upgrade the phpBB software from vers 3.0 to 3.2. We are a little behind! So we will down the forum between 1 and 2 am tonight to install the new release then we can see about upgrading the theme after that.
So the forum may be down a bit tonite.

My attempted forum upgrade the other night was a total fail. I'm now testing in a separate directory. If I ever figure it out I'll copy the changes to this directory.

Ok be brave everyone! I'm going to attempt this again. Actually Webair is doing it for me, hehehe.... going to attempt to upgrade the forum software to the newest version possible and also install a new super responsive mobile friendly theme! It's called Milk! No idea why it's called that, but fingers crossed it will look nice!

So if anything weird happens or the forum is down you will know why!

ok so webair pulled a fast one on me, lol.. they almost lost the entire forum! But they saved it and we lost about an hour of posts, so if you are missing a post, just repost it, that is why. They lost all my customizations and fixes too, but I'm putting them back bit by bit... Hope you like the way this looks? It's fantastic on the phone! The pinching and zooming was driving me nuts before! This will make posting on your phone while you are waiting in a doctors office or waiting for your car to be fixed sooo much better! Hope you like the convenient links on the right hand side too... like I said, I'm not totally done... but if you see anything wrong or have suggestions I'm wide open!

I just logged in tonight and I think it is really nice. There are a couple of things to get used to but when I do I think it will go pretty smooth. I like the way everything is set up on the board index page. Nice work Vicky!

The new board seems to me to be very slow in responding. I'm gonna try to clean a few things up later today and try harder, but for now, it seems pretty slow.

It was probably the entire server not just the Forum, webair was running some very intense malware scans due to all the hacking attempts lately.

It's still pretty slow this morning. Generally taking 3 - 5 seconds to reply to every click. Like I said, I'm going to do a little clean-up, etc, a little later and work with it a little bit, then try again. Is it responding quickly for you?

I absolutely....LOVE IT!!!!

And, not only because I've been one who's been gently nudging Vicky to update the forum for quite some time, but because the new format is awesome!!
The only thing that it's missing is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) post editor, but that's a small detail.

I'm about to check it out in mobile to see how it looks.
