Simplicity prevents explaning yourself to people; "yes" or "no" was sufficient in letting her know what you thought. By explaing to her how you felt the door was opened for her to act as she did.
Prayer, Religion, God are concepts that differ from person to person. They are understood individually & are personal. The concept of "God" differs from person to person; "Religion" is a "man made" thing that involves "interpretations" of life & people; "prayer" is how people talk to God.
Praying for other people is usually just a way to tell people how you think they should live. That is when personal judgement overtakes compassion & is more for the one praying, not the one being prayed for.
I find it interesting that you see a conflict between God & porn. If you believe in a loving, forgiving, & unselfish God then you know that your choices will not always be right. If you choose to participate in the world of Adult Entertainment then part of you enjoys it or gets something from it. If you think it is wrong stop participating.
Selfish behavior or God's Will? I think you are imposing your way of doing things, not God's. People are Human, human's make mistakes, bad decisions, & sometimes fail; God knows that. Each of us discerns what is right or wrong, we also falsely judge others.
Apologize & move on, it's not in your control. Accept your actions & move on. Three words helped me not long ago (I was having struggles of my own makings) move on with life: Get Over It!

I've come to the conclusion that my faith is just that... my faith. I can't go around forcing my faith on people and I also can't be a hypocrite. From now on, I won't say anything about my faith.

I think that'as the right choice, ldb. It's fine to ask for opinions, as you did here. But, like politics, it's just not one of those things you should bring up 'in public.'
I can resist everything except temptation.

People will know whether or not you have Faith (which can be interpreted many ways). Telling someone you do is not necessary.
If you are directly asked a question, then answer the question. We are only Humans, we make mistakes. What we do about the mistake defines us.
