No I would think it's more dangerous for girls because the skin inside the vagina is very tender and delicate. I wouldn't want to get a chemical burn on it.... Each to their own though!

Yes I shave mine as well... with a Gillette and shaving foam. I did actually, because they have discount codes on nearly every podcast I listen to it seems, get a manscaped trimmer with it's "skin safe" technology. First time I used it I nicked the skin... back to the Gillette for me! Haha!

I was the first boy in my neighborhood to have hair under my arms. And probably the first to get pubic hair. Maybe I was age eleven just twelve. But no. I've never done it.
