I recently ordered the "4 Free Home Tests" they're offering. They are ordered through the US Postal Service and come by mail with tracking numbers. I received them yesterday, but am less than impressed with them.

They come 2 tests to a box. They are the Antigen Rapid Tests. They are not as accurate as the PCR tests, but, I guess, can be useful. Maybe these, if they show positive, can direct you to go get the PCR test. I was going to write more, but I ran across this website which seems to be pretty informative. So here's the link.

Yes, the idea behind having the RF tests at home is that - well I do them twice a week (at least) to make sure I am not taking it into work with me, or have caught it from there. If you test positive with one of these the choices are to isolate or go get a PCR test (and then isolate).

I wonder what the legality of me getting more and more of these tests and then posting them over to you in the States is? Haha - in any case what's the betting that me sending one of them from here would get to you faster than the ones you've ordered there?

You don't get free at-home-tests here, you have to buy them (I think they're about 4 Euro), but you can take at least one free test a week at a testing center, because they were and still are required to enter some places (you get the result on your phone and have to show your ID). Last year testing centers were popping up everywhere because the government paid them 21 Euro per test without any controls, so some people just opened a testing facility in their living room and said they did 1000 tests a day...
