Walt that would be a great Halloween workout "The Coffin Close"

We had to move our Christmas workout to last night cause I have to go home right away. We collected 31 turkeys and 11 full Christmas dinners, felt so good giving them to the food bank this morning. Even the band chief and his family were there last night. I was telling everyone watch your language with Prowling Wolf here, and we were all on our best behavior. Half way through he's doing some ISO band holds and he says "I haven't used these fucking muscles since I was a kid for fuck sake!" So I put my arm around him and said "Well about fucking time don't ya think?" The people there have this :wtf: look on their faces. He said something in Cree and they laughed, then said "Only you White Wolf would I expect that from." I guess swearing with your arm around the Chief isn't really allowed, how the fuck would I know that. The workout was really fun and after we had a pot luck supper, so much native food, mostly meat, buffalo, elk, moose, caribou, and deer, Hayley and I brought veggies and salads. After dinner we went tobogganing for a few hours. The workout started at 5 and by time I got home it was after midnight. Yeah this is the town that I thought I'd hate :smile:

On New Year's Eve we had a pre party workout at 5:30 and 9:30am. I won't go into the whole thing but after just over one hour I gave them the finisher. It was 4 minutes long so no big deal right. It was only 100 of each of these, with battle ropes 100 jumping jacks, skier swings, Spider-Man's only 50 on each leg and one length of bear crawls. Yeah I couldn't get it done either, I wanted to go to the mirror and :bitchslap: the one that had that for an idea.

Today no one showed up at 5:30 and the 9:30 only 2 showed so we thought we would try to do a 1000 calorie burn. After almost 1:45 minutes we were done and not there yet. All I had to eat was a small bowl of oatmeal and 6 almonds. That's what took me out, if I knew we were gonna try that I would have a lot of protein even if I would of had to swallow and act like I enjoyed it :bj:

Some gyms I've worked in there's been a lot of protein exchanges, well so I heard, I was much to :innocent: to have been part of that :bluewink:

1000 calories is a lot to ask for you crazy girl! My last 90 minute workout at Orange Theory I burned 850 calories and I was fried for the next two days, seriously, lol.. it kicked my ass, was walking around like a zombie, that was on an empty stomach though... I never eat first. I don't feel like I can, cause I'll want to puke...

I know that was insane to try Vicky, but the reason we wanted to try was because it takes 3,500 calories to burn 1 lb. I don't know how many times people have said they could do that daily. So we wanted to get an idea how long it would take. I'm guessing 21/2-3 hours if your in decent shape. Now we were measuring using heart rates and charts that gave us averages. Not really scientific here, but it gave us a good idea. If anyone can do that when they want is one hell of an athlete!

Just so you know I've been given the green light to go back to hard workouts by my heart doctor :smile: So I no longer feel like my hearts gonna explode in my chest now, you have no idea what a relief that is to me :cheerleader: :hula: I still wear a heart monitor, I might be insane but I'm no fool

Thanks I'm being careful, cause I'm a bit nervous.

We're having a guy come in next Monday and do a body fat analysis, I'm not sure how I'm gonna do. I've been eating like an idiot over the holidays, some chocolate, squares, birthday cake and ice cream and cheese cake. It was so good, but I only ate 1/2 of what was served so I had 4 pieces!! I weighed myself this morning and I'm 132.4lbs! :punchout: I took off my runners, shorts and top and got it to 131.8, Hayley was telling me my thong must have weighed at least an ounce and my bra, then she says no that doesn't weigh fuck all!! So we're having a winter workout challenge starting soon.

Hope everyone has their fitness goals set for the year, I'm so excited about our winter wonderland workout. You know what sucks though, everything we do now has to have a disclaimer now saying you have seen your doctor, or if you haven't you take all responsibility for your actions at the gym. We've had 17 new people start this week, so that's always good, but in January that's normal, the key is to have them there in March.

If I can find where Hayley has what we're doing for everyone I'll post it if not I'll email a copy to someone that knows how to post it on here, if anyone wants it. Yeah I know, take a computer course Julie, it's on my to do list from 10 years ago and I'm gonna get to that list one day!

I added the last line.

Today's finisher is, 10 jumping jacks, or step jacks, run 5 lengths of the gym, or 15 med ball slams, 10 box squat jumps, 5 more lengths or slams, 10 burpies and then 5 more lengths or slams. Five minutes over and over, one got through 4 times! I did almost 3 times, maybe I'm getting old :signhammer:

Our gym now is doing a new thing... at the end of each class, the top 3 male, and top 3 female calorie burners, get raffle tickets. At the end of the month they pick a ticket and someone wins a 50 inch 4K flat screen TV. So it encourages you to come to more classes, and to work really hard in those classes. Not fair, I didn't make the top 3 only top 5, lol.. but Dave always gets his name in the draw because for some reason the classes we go to there are never more than 3 guys!

That's an awesome incentive, ours is "look in the mirror!" :situps: I could raffle off the old TV in our garage, but we might go out of business printing the tickets :help: It's not that bad, as long as I keep eating as an option. :smile:

This morning we were getting ready for our finisher and what I had planned was pushing the sled the length of the gym and back. Everyone was gonna do it 3 times, and you would have about 3 minutes of rest between sets. It weighs with the extra weights I added 180lbs. It's a great legs and glute workout. One girl says do we have to push the sled first thing, and I said of course not, I have a better idea. Terri says "oh we are fucked, look at her smile!" I thought let's to an assending pyramid so this is what I thought would be nice.
10 leg raises, each leg
20 hanging ring curls
30 push ups
40 laterial jacks
50 second front plank
60 burpies
70 mountain climbers
80 med ball slams
90 jumping jacks
100 second wall sit

She said to everyone how sorry she was and she's never complain about the sled again. I thought it wasn't that bad :smile:
