My eldest son once had an argument in a Pizza retardant in Phoenix. He ordered a calzone pizza (the ones fold over a bit like a Cornish pasty) and the guy couldn't understand him After he explained the waiter said he was pronouncing it wrongly - to which my son said "It's Italian and that's how they say it!" The waiter got really stroppy and claimed that he was right - after all pizzas are an American dish.................

The pizza complaint came from Merthyr - which will explain it all if you are Welsh!
