It was hot, the sun was beating down on me. It was 85% humidity my face was red. I was drenched with sweat,. I should have just stopped and walked because I was so tired,. But silly me I kept on going and even tried to speed up. And then I wiped out.

I went for a 5k run this afternoon, but really wasn't feeling it at all, so I bailed at 1k.

I got a new rower! God I love it I look forward to working out almost every day now LOL it's the coolest thing it comes with an app that all the people who have the same rower have. Every day they send us a challenge, and we all do it and see where we rank! It's really motivating! There are people from Russia and Norway and all over the USA and everywhere! You can sort by gender and age group also to see where you are! It's a total body workout, aerobic and anaerobic and you can get a lot accomplished in just 20 minutes!

Rowers are cool. I remember using one when I first started going to a gym, decades ago. No internet connectivity then, but the machine had a screen that showed you your position relative to a target pace.

I've always enjoyed treadmills and rowers. Can't stand stepmasters or stationary bikes.

I went out with a friend a couple times last week and got a little exercise. Probably enough to last me ’til 2025, lol.

It’s nice to have a friend who cares enough to try and motivate me. But when i go visit, there’s no escaping the hard (for me, lol) work. I can do much less these days, but continuing to press forward is key, and I’m lucky to have a buddy that cares enough to keep after me to get up and MOVE.

So guess what? I joined a virtual rowing team! This rower I bought sends us a workout of the day everyday and then they post the results from everybody who does it.. I came in second in my age class. I guess this team saw it and they wrote to me and asked if I would join their team! How exciting! So now I have committed to that as well it will keep me on target!

Lance, it’s not an IPhone. It’s a big so-and-so (I saw a picture, lol.) Probably took Vicky a day to just open the box and take it out.

Day 2 to set it up and turn it on.

Day 3: “What? There’s teams?”
