Today is Admin George's birthday. We don't see George too often these days. Maybe he's been practising up for his big birthday bash. I hope you have a great day, George.

Hope all are well. Can’t believe I am 41 today. I wish I was about more but always try. Happy belated birthday AdminGeorge.

Thanks Liz, have great day. I am finally able to see again, I had a corneal abrasion starting the end of last month and I haven’t been able to see much at all out of that side and tore my pec at the end of feb so couldn’t lay and “get laid (even to myself)” but I am one year older now so back to stay… just gotta stop getting hurt. Y’know how it is.

Sorry to hear that, good that you're doing better now, especially that your eyesight is better again. I see you posting about watching movies on my Twitter timeline sometimes, maybe you can make some popcorn and watch your favorite movie today to celebrate your birthday.

Happy Birthday, Highwulf. I know you have issues, but you keep moving forward, and that's what's important. Really hope you manage to have a good day. I've got some oatmeal raisin cookies here. I could stick a candle in one and mail it to you, if you wish....
I can resist everything except temptation.
Happy birthday Highwulf!
It may not feel like such, but a healed muscle and eyeball are great birthday presents! Hope the state of good health continues.

I"m going to say Happy Birthday to a couple of long ago members. I thought they both were pretty cool. Some long-time members might remember them.
First is Hornydevil. She is a Scottish lady who joined in January, 2008 and, according to her profile would have been 22 at the time. She was last here in June 2009. Her first post said she was 29 at the time, which doesn't add up. But who am I to quibble? lol. She said, "yes i did say military. i work for the Royal Air Force. i fix radios, radars, ICT for the RAF. i love it!"
she was also a jokester.
"why is dyslexia so hard to spell?
why does bottled mineral water that has been in the ground for thousands of years have a use by date on it?
why is it called a cold when you get a fever?
these are all very important questions which i ponder in work. As you can see i am very busy."
Happy Birthday, Hornydevil, wherever you are.
Next is Pandora. Pandora joined from January, 2011 to April 2012. According to Pandora's profile, she would have been 21 then. She said she was single, bi and Scottish..She lived in Inverness, which is where Loch Ness is located. Pandora said, "Yes she is real before anyone says anything." lol. Pandora said she was a maternity nurse and hd married an Air Force guy. She was kind of a jokester, as well.
"What colour does a smurf go if you choke it?
Why do they sterilise the needles before giving lethal injections?
Why does the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle have the same tune?
If a person with multiple personalities threatens suicide, is that considered a hostage situation?
Why are there Interstates in Hawaii?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?"
They both were pretty regular posters and had intelligent things to say. So, to both of you ladies, I hope you are doing well wherever you are, and,

I think I remember those ladies, albeit a little vaguely and I hope wherever they are safe we’ll and happy and that they are having a great birthday. Thanks Walt for remembering members from such time ago. I can only be lucky I’ll be remembered and sent such wishes if I make it to 60

Today is The Shaft's birthday. He'd be here to say something, but he's out in the woods somewhere, knocking a ball around with a stick.
Happy Birthday, Shaft. Maybe, with a little luck, someone will give you some new balls for your day.
Have you ever noticed on a golf course that the hole is so far away from the tee? Wouldn't it be a little easier if they'd put the hole a little closer? I mean, that hole is waaaayyyy out there. People think that 75 shots is a good score. If they'd move that dang hole a little closer (or a LOT, lol,) I bet you could get those scores down to the 30's or so. Seems like a good idea to me.

First of all, I would like to thank anyone who wrote happy birthday wishes to me who I had not thanked before!
I have to say Happy Birthday to anyone I may have missed saying it to in the past few months. I work for the school system here and work in the cafeteria, I am in charge of the milk (which is heavy) and the fruit (also heavy). The school year ended in June and I volunteered to work the month of June for summer school. Granted it's only 4 hours but most days but I am totally drained after work. I have tired to spend the month of July trying to rest and recover for we start back to school in August!! So I have missed a few birthdays here. If you follow me or I follow u on Twitter, then I have tried to catch u there. i hope everyone has had a wonderful birthday!!
