Sorry to be a pain but I just downloaded the latest Britney video and I only got the first 7 seconds to play before it started over, so I thought I'd try to watch it w/o the download and the exact same thing happened. Any suggestions once again? Any help would be appreciated.

what happens to me when my cookies are cleaned out, is the 1st download i do on vicky's site,
the dl window usually finishes 2seconds after starting, saying the file is fully downloaded.

so i just retry again and it usually works then to download the whole file wich takes much longuer than 2seconds.

Try again, if it doesnt work you might just be redownloading the same file,
try cleaning your cache but only your files, not everything/cookies and retry.

if all else fails you could try a download manager program like reget or one of them plugins for firefox.

one thing comes to mind tho, maybe vicky is still uploading it aswell.
She said the internet was bogged down in the L.A. hotel.

Thx once again HT1. The quick downloading was what happened with me. I thought it was strabge that a 7 minute video dl'ed in a minute. I'll try it again.

I was probably still uploading it when you were downloading it, lol... boy you guys are fast! I hadn't even posted on the board yet that it was up! I will be more careful in the future and upload everything in the correct order.... sometimes I upload the page first and then the actual wmv file after, I'll stop doing that knowing that you porn hounds are hanging around... lol... just teasing.... it should be fine now right?

Downloading went fine and watching right now

my theather in the VNA idea sounds like a cool idea right about now,

"movie night with friends"

We could stream content like this from the site and all watch together.
Display name of watchers and allow chatting, global room and private/whisper mode.

suggest a few clips or if people want to see diff vids that night,
create a playlist and play through it.
It could be majority rules, sort vids by number of votes before the show starts.

We'd need many servers tho, or a big fat pipe. You could even optimise it to play files on the local client's machine instead of using the internet connection. (put a browse button next to the video's names on the playlist and let the user tell the program were the downloaded file is, save on gas)
