I read the opening statement from the Mindgeek CEO and, oh my, I had to pick up my feet it was getting so deep. Requests for studio-only and verified-creator-only uploads have been streaming in for 13 years. They said they have been working on it. Within 13 days after Visa pulls the plug it gets implemented. That tells me all I need to know about them.

i don't know any of the decisions made by pornhub..are you saying they want to go full professional content and not uploads by average people

From the Mindgeek CEO, "Today, only professional studios and verified users and creators — whose personal identity and date of birth have been confirmed by MindGeek — may upload content. This means every piece of content on our websites can be traced back to its uploader, whose identity and location is known to us."

He conveniently leaves out that since 2007, PornHub allowed ANY user to upload pirated videos which brought in millions upon millions of ad revenue dollars for them (and kept it out of the hands of the studios and talent who created it). Allowing all content also means they allowed the illegal content which finally got them into trouble. They only stopped and adopted this new policy when the Visa Corporation said they would no longer allow their credit card to be used there.
