Best Shows on Netflix & Amazon!
I've been re-watching Eureka on amazon prime. It is a fun show if you like quirky sci fi. After a car accident U.S. marshal Jack Carter stumbles upon the town of Eureka which was established by the government after world war 2 and run by the dept of defense to house the worlds geniuses to create the technology of the future. Needless to say things dont always go as planned and its up to non genius Carter to stop the chaos, save lives and generally figure out what went wrong and how to stop it all while dealing with the oddball characters who make up the town. I watched it when it first aired and it still holds up. very enjoyable
Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you are up to :-)
Started watching The Boys on amazon prime and am really liking it. This is a world where super heroes are run by corporations, agents, publicists, etc who only care about profits and public opinions and are treated as celebrities and idols. When people are killed by heroes misusing their powers or as collateral damage the corporations step in to cover it up or spin it as an unavoidable accident to keep their image up and thereby their profits up. When a mans girlfriend is killed by a super and sees how it is covered up he finds himself recruited into a group of normal people who take it upon themselves to take down the corrupt heroes by any means. Definitely earns an R rating. Sex, language, lots of violence, and yes Rokkerr nudity.

Got one for y'all on Prime Video; it's a series called, "The Man in the Castle."
It's about an alternate reality of the world following WW II. North and South America is divided between Japan (West Coast, a Neutral area between the two, & Germany (East Coast). There are resistance groups on both sides, some working together & some not.
I am in the 2nd season, and have been binging on it.
Check it out.

I can't stop watching that show! I end up staying up later than I want to and then being tired in the morning! That's one of the best trailers I've ever seen either don't you agree?

So I tried the new Netflix series, "Another Life"
I'm usually into sci-fi stuff, really enjoyed the Expanse, Altered Carbon, stuff like that, so seeing Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff in this series, I had high expectations, and man after one episode I had to shut it off, what a stinker.
I had a hard time finishing it. Anyone else sit through this entire thing yet?

Rokker, I agree about Mindhunter. It's based on the book, "Mindhunter; Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit," and has received very good reviews (97% Rotten omatoes).
It is thought provoking, lol (sorta creepy lol by me). I have to admit that for me it's as if I am living vicariously through some of the characters. I have just gotten to Wayne Williams (Atlanta Child Murders '79-'81) in Season 2, episode 3.
My Wife and I had moved to the NE side of Metro ATL in Summer '80, near an area called Tucker (near Stone Mountain). We were not far from some of the areas involved, the Chattahoochee River was not far, and it was all people talked about.
The area most of the kids were abducted from is located in SW ATL not far from Hartsfield International Airport. There is talk now that the current ATL Mayor is having the case reopened and materials tested for DNA, etc. He is currently serving Life w/out Parole in a GA State Prison.
Also, the guy interviewed in Season 2, episode 2 (?) by Ford & Ford thought he was too dumb to be interviewed so the black Agent gave the guy some chocolate which got him talking helped kill a family out the country in SW GA. He was found guilty then due to some screw up he was retried & the trial was here where I live.
THought I would share, hope it's ok.

I'm so sad I finished both seasons of mindhunter! I hope they are making more! I know what you mean though George, the extraneous relationships of the people didn't really add much to it, it didn't detract but it didn't add anything significant either... I guess it was just filler...

I have to do something. I'm paying a ridiculuous amount for cable and all I ever watch is CNN!
I am half way thru Carnival Row on Amazon. Carnival Row (an area in a victorian england like human nation called the Burgh) has become home to refugees from a land of faerie creatures such as pixies, centaurs, trolls, etc, after their lands are devastated in a war between the Burgh and another human nation called the Pact. Most humans barely tolerate them and want them driven out and the police are indifferent when a series of gruesome murders occur. A police detective who served in the army during the war seems to be the only one who cares and is determined to find the killer. The main storyline has been pretty interesting but a couple of the sub plots I could do with out. Over all I have been enjoying it. and being on Amazon they can get away with things they cant on network tv. i.e. sex and nudity.

What a great description of Carnival Row! You should be a reviewer! Somehow we are in sync Greg! I'm on about episode 5 right now. It took one or two episodes to get into it but now I am invested!
