Hey just wanted to be sure everyone knew that I would be on today at 6 PM DST! I'm shooting my last customs, and my Cam show today. I need tomorrow to do laundry, pack finish editing, post date updates, run errands, mail orders to post office, bank et cetera and then Tuesday we are off to Italy!

I don't think I can cam from there, because who knows where I'll be or what internet I'll have!

FYI I changed my next camshow to Sunday night! We scored Tix to game 3 of the Stanley cup playoffs on Monday night! We're gonna head into tampa early, go shoot in a hotel, go to dinner, go to the game and sleep over and come home tuesday afternoon!

So my camshow will be Sunday at 6 pm EST!

As a Red Wings fan I can never support the Avalanche. I don't care if it was like 20 years ago, the Avs will always be hated by me forever. Just like the Bulls.

I lived in and around Detroit for 7 years back in the late '60's/early 70's.

I think I've mentioned before I like all of the Detroit pro teams - the Tigers, the Pistons, the Red Wings and OMG these poor guys, the Lions. We all keep hoping that someday the Lions will actually win something, The Lions had a good quarterback in Matthew Stafford. But they couldn't keep him. So the Rams got him and he is proving his worth.

The Wings now have Stevie as the GM. He's going to build the Wings up just like he did Tampa. And after 23 straight playoff appearances, they are taking a well deserved rest.
And how many Cups do the Wings have and how many do the Avs have? Lol

As for the Lions, until the Fords sell the team, we won't see a Super Bowl win.

Your argument doesn't hold water, UncleDave. You are comparing uneven statistics (Wings vs Avs Cup wins.) The Wings were founded in 1926, the Avs in 1972, joining the NHL in 1979. A bit of an advantage to the Wings. But here's an interesting article:

In 1996, the Colorado Avalanche met the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals and upset the Red Wings 4–2. Advantage, Detroit Red Wings. (Dang! ) My son loves the Wings as well. Doesn't like the Avs. He grew up in Detroit (Royal Oak, 13 Mile and Gratiot,), then lived in Denver for 5 or 6 years earlier in his career. We are going through a bit of a rough time right now, we are losing our little Jack Russell terrorist Loki at 1 o'clock today. She is 18 and a 1/2. She lived a good happy life in the 15 and a 1/2 years that I've had her.

I was going to try to just gut it through my camshow tonight but Dave changed my mind. That's actually not even fair to you guys. So I'm going to postpone until tomorrow night.

Also I haven't shared this with you yet, but my mother is in very poor condition in Canada, she's in the hospital. She had a very serious fall, and when she fell, she poured boiling water all over herself. I will be leaving here Thursday until Tuesday to be with her. So I will miss next Monday Cam show as well.... I'll see how crazy behind things are and how I feel when I get back and possibly do a make up show.
