You should have offered them some pizza George!George B wrote:Funny enough, that turtle was the toughest subject to photograph. This was shot on a pond near to my house where I had seen turtles sunning themselves before. I had gone out several times hoping to get a shot, spotting turtles on this log, only to have them swim away before I could get in range. This particular day, I was in my camo, set myself up in position early in the day and quite literally took an hour nap on the forest floor while I waited for the turtle to show up.stickyvicky wrote:Even the turtle is "striking a pose"!

That took a lot of patience George! The turtle seems like he is saying "I am beautiful! Take my picture." Do you have more photos George? I love seeing them.George B wrote:Funny enough, that turtle was the toughest subject to photograph. This was shot on a pond near to my house where I had seen turtles sunning themselves before. Plenty more! Wildlife shooting is my most recent venture, I also do product photography and portraiture when I'm lucky enough to have people to model for me. It's just a hobby for me currently but I tend to throw myself into the deep end when I find something I'm passionate about.hennar2017 wrote: That took a lot of patience George! Oh George! I love this pic. Wouldn't it be nice if the world could be as peaceful as this bird? Seems like he is looking right at you and saying here I am aren't I pretty, so take my picture! Friends, Henna

Does anyone know if we have a thread where members can show off their photography? Whatever turns your crank...landscapes...wildlife...urban interesting...macro butterflies....whatever?
Nice work George...you've got a good eye. My taste differs to more urban and human interest stuff. It's not quite as colourful, but it keeps my bug bites down.
Here's a good example...I mean where else on earth besides New York can you see a dude rolling a chest of drawers down the street in a wheelchair? Gawd I loved visiting NYC

Neat photos Mike. I love to look at the different talents of our members. I think Walt is right about starting a thread called "members photography". I for one would really enjoy the thread.CGYMike wrote:Does anyone know if we have a thread where members can show off their photography?
