This is really long but really informative. They do go off topic and delve into other related tangents like ticks and Lyme disease but it's well worth watching.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

The latest update, where I live in Melbourne, Australia, in relation to this virus is that it has been announced from Monday, non essential gatherings in this country of 500+ will be enforced. Therefore, with the events like football matches, aussie rules and rugby league, there will be matches with no fans. That means with a membership ticket, I can't go. Also, a classical concert I was to see, on Monday, is .cancelled. All other concerts, and other events like the Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held this weekend, here, have been cancelled. Therefore, it looks, for the time being, I will be staying home a lot and just watch tv, seeing sports game, maybe, with no spectators at the ground.

You're not alone, Glenn. Pretty much the same here in the states. Massive closings, sporting events canceled or run without fans, Even Disneyland (and possibly Disney World in Florida) will be closed. Schools closing, pretty much everything shutting down. And, heaven forbid if you're low on toilet paper. People are buying it by the gross, and no one knows why. It's crazy.
I can resist everything except temptation.
And it is the same here In Norway. They closed everything yesterday. Hahaha Walt...people here are also going crazy about the toiletpaper.
The worst thing for me is that I have to cancel my trip to Thailand. But no big deal compare to what other people are going through. Loosing their jobs etc...

Disney World and all the Universal Studios theme parks now going to close. Still no word on Wrestlemania yet, Vince is waiting on Tampa and the State of Florida to say something and they are waiting on him to do the decent thing.

The current suggestion is to clean all of the things you touch frequently with an alcohol based sanitizer.

My grandmother's funeral service outside of Boston got called off. Several friends are considering canceling their travel plans to Vegas and Los Angeles.
My sales are probably going to take a hit, but considering I don't do much business between April and June it won't make an appreciable difference.

Oh my God we absolutely freaked right out! We were in South Ireland when we heard the news at 2 am. (We were originally supposed to go to the French Riviera after leaving Paris, but we thought it was too close to Italy, so we decided to go the other way.) My phone was blowing up with friends telling me we needed to come home right away.
We got on the phone to the airlines immediately which took several hours, at first they said they could only change our flight from Tues to Saturday but after tweeting them, a rep called my phone and said she could change it to Friday, for $970, which we thought was high because they are advertising no change fees on all new tickets right now, but we didn't have a choice so we agreed. So then we bought a ticket from Dublin to London for later that day. We went back to sleep for 1 hour, before packing up and driving the 3.5 hours back to Dublin. We went to the airport early thinking that maybe they could put us on an earlier flight, but they couldn't. So we finally got to England that night and stayed in hotel by airport.
We went to the airport first thing in the morning, even though our flight was only at 12:30 just to be sure that everything was okay. It was a damn good thing we did too because we didn't actually have a ticket!
Even though we had emails from them giving us the new flight numbers date and time and confirmation number and our flights showed up in both of our BA apps with a link to check in, but when we tried to check in on the phone it didn't work because we didn't actually have tickets! What a nightmare!
The flight was very full, because everybody in the world was trying to get back home to America. Other airlines were giving people and even harder time, some people were just dumping their tickets on the other Airlines and buying fresh tickets same day on British Airways. Anyway she finally squeezed us in, and waved the change fee of $250 us per person so all we had to pay was the difference in the fair, which was about $650. Standing in line I was talking to other people, and a couple of girls told me they had paid $2,500 to buy same-day tickets just to be sure that they could get home.
They were all actually American citizens, and green card holders. The new rule was not supposed to apply to citizens and permanent residents, but just like us they were panic-stricken because the rules could change at any moment. Remember all the American citizens on the cruise ship on the coast of San Diego? They made them stay on the ship for an extra three weeks? That was the worst decision in the world, because every day more people got infected. By forcing everyone to stay on the ship people who were not sick at the time became sick because they were all breathing the same infected are, and being served by the same infected crew members. More and more people became sick with each passing day. They really should have let them on land and quarantine them somewhere there.
I was chatting with one of the stewardesses, and she told me that they had been flying with infected people all over the place, and in her opinion British Airways was a big part of the problem. For example she told me Jamaica never had a single case of it, but twice infected people flew to Jamaica on British Airways and therefore now they have two cases. She said the plane's never actually get cleaned in any real way, the cleaning crew has only 10 minutes total to clean an entire jumbo jet in between lights, including all 10 lavatories. She said the crew who knowingly came into contact with these people have never been tested and they just move on to other flights. They all know exactly who the infected business travelers are, in fact you can Google it which I did.
In a lot of ways it was the vacation from hell, because with everything going on and it was hard to actually enjoy the sight seeing that we were doing because we were always worried, and bringing Lysol wipes with us everywhere and washing our hands 50 million times per day. Every time someone coughed near us we would duck for cover.
N the other hand the Madonna concert was amazing! I'm so glad we went. In the couple of days leading up to our trip, we almost canceled about five times! Everyone said oh don't give in to the hype, it's the news creating all this Panic, it's not that bad. So we went ahead anyways. I guess I'm still glad I went, but out of the 11 days I was gone, five days were actually travel days and I feel more exhausted now than before I left.

Well, I hope you were able to relax at least a little and enjoy what you did get to visit. And we're all glad to have you home.

welcome back home. Oh and they are possibly thinking of doing a domestic travel ban, honestly as one doctor said a little too late for that. As much as I say not to panic, and I'm not also don't like the folks that are saying it's not a big deal or it's over hyped.
