Yes, TheOldFar--oops, TheOldGuy remembers both of those. They were part of what was called "Bubble Gum Rock," started by, I believe, The Archies (John?) As some of the comments mentioned, I had heard "Billy..." by Bo Donaldson, but I liked the video. (Velcro suits? Hell I still have my Nehru Jacket!)

Thanks for enlightening me Rokkerr. Just like one of the comments said, I had never heard the Paper Lace version before, only the Bo Donaldson one. I'll check out the other video............

"The Night Chicago Died", that's the only song I had ever heard from Paper Lace until today. When I made that playful jab at Tony for Paper Lace, that's the song I was referring to.
