For all of you music lovers out there... I just ran across what I feel very confident without hearing yet, to be a must have.

It is Roger Waters @ Madison Square Gardens 5-30-2007. Last nights concert.

I have 9-12-2006 which is from the same guy. in close to the same seats, and he uses close to the same equipment to record this show. Its the same set list as 9-12, but 9-12 was special cause he dedicated it to the victims of 9-11. Anyhow the 9-12-2006 show is hands down the best recording I have ever heard. But this has the added ummm ... jellying of being on the road for almost a year.

So if you're interested in a dynamite show, here's the link.....
http://www.nyctaper.com

It is in lossless in the FLAC format, which means that what you d/l is exactly what was recorded. Winamp plugin will play these files wihtou converting them to .wav, and Nero will burn FLAC to cd's All of that info is towards the bottom of the page with the appropriate links if needed.

I sposse I should include the set list but I'd have to switch pc's and if your intesrested you can see all lthe info by clicking the link... if it works

I'm not good at that sort of schtufffff.

But it includes the complete Dark Side of the Moon, some Wall, some Wish You Were Here and Set the Controls, and aslo some roger solo stuff.

Enjoy!!!!

Ahh, Pink Floyd --- Capitol Records/EMI Records second most popular band --- then later under Columbia Records .... Roger Waters, their leader, a very good bass player and singer. David Gilmour, a very fine lead guitarist, he sings pretty good too. Richard Wright is an accomplished pianist and singer in his own right. And Nick Mason. He's a good drummer. Maybe, not as good as Bonzo (no one can top him) but good just the same.

I loved the Madcap Laughs and Barrett - the two solo albums that Syd did after leaving Pink Floyd...sorry to hear about his passing earlier this year - :( :(

My opinions - they follow:

The Dark Side of the Moon - their best album.

The Wall - their second best album - it falls just alittle bit short of Dark Side...But a very good piece of work all the same.

Their most obscure album - Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii.

Their best soundtrack for a film - Zabriske Point ...

My favorite albums - Wish You Were Here, followed next by The Piper At the Gates of Dawn .. then The Wall

My favorite Pink Floyd songs to play on an acoustic guitar: "Mother" from The Wall and the self titled, "Wish You Were Here" from Wish You Were Here

And for you animal lovers out there:

1. Of course, their album, Animals

And

2. their best album cover - Atom Heart Mother - Yes, I love that Holstein Cow!! :D ...

... And more Holstein cows are on the back cover!!! ... Even better!!
