Unconditional LOVE and one can see the dogs smile. TV footage just showed how many came over to pet, hug and talk to the dogs. Every little bit helps!

Green is the Sandy Hook, CT school color. I spent there and lived in CT.

Well we had a bit of a scare here this week. My mother is in the hospital but recovering well enough to be transported home over the Christmas holidays. That means its a green light to begin our trip to pick our new family member Taz. We leave here on Dec28th to begin the week long 7000 km round trip to pick up our new buddy but I know that it is going to be well worth it :)

From what I can tell he couldn't have wound up in better hands than he did with Vicky and the amazing people @ Satchels Last Resort. I was thinking about renaming him Lucky but we are definitely keeping his name the same.

I want to publicly thank Vicky and Rokkerr for everything they have done for Taz to get him this far. They have renewed my faith in community and my faith in humanity.

I'm taking the laptop along for the ride and will post our progress along the way.
