My dogs are 10, 10 and 16 years old. They never pee or poo in the house ever.
EXCEPT WHEN THERE IS ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOUSE! Dave's Mom keeps her dog in her room, and we sometimes swap them around, let hers have the run of the house, while mine are in my bedroom, and put them in the yard in shifts. But they know she is here, they sniff everywhere she has been, everywhere she has peed in the yard, they go pee on top of it..... and i think they are revenge peeing in the house now, cause they don't want her here. Disrupting the normal flow of things... Wonder what Caesar Milan would say about that?

I've heard that indiscriminate peeing is how they "mark their territory." Fred will go to the chain-link fence when Peanut next door is out. They will sniff, then Fred will pee on the fence. Peanut will circle around and pee on the same spot. Then Fred will circle around and pee on the same spot again.

You've noticed that when you take them running, they run with their noses down like a Hoover, lol. Every time Fred smells something, he stops short, gives it a GOOD smell, then pees on it. I swear, when I'm out walking with Fred, I'm thinking, "how the hell much pee you GOT in there?" lol. Toward the end of the walk, it's just a squirt. But he's still gettin' it done, lol.

I wanted to take Fred with me to Arizona, but my son doesn't want me to, with his two dogs there. Both are pretty big. I'm sure that Rocky would be OK but Kota is older and slow. So I'm sure she wouldn't be happy with Fred running around driving her crazy. I would have to keep them separated, so instead I just leave him with my sister. She loves him and Fred and her Lily get along great. So I'll just leave him there again.

Such a cutie. And the dog too
I'm currently taking care of my mum's dog. He's a teenager now and gets more... unique the older he gets. He only drinks out of the bird bath and wants to have breakfast at 5am. He follows me everywhere. But I really love him, something about dogs that enlightens your mood immediately.

We grew up with dogs, but when I hit the road, it was a solo act. Didn't get the chance for another until Frisco, maybe 8 years ago. After Frisco came Fred, who has owned me for about 5 years now. I sometimes call him "Your Fucking Majesty!" I mean, it's not like the little bugger can understand me, right?

OK, I need to know what the devil I'm doing. You know how, when you scratch a dog on his rear haunches, he wiggles his butt all over and gets all jiggy?

These two shepherds of my son's, especially Rocky, are big ones. And Rocky knows he can just push his way into anywhere. I love him, but I don't want the big SOB to start trying to hump my leg - or anything else I got,

thanks Liz she was, I get kind of double whammed because this month would be her birthday, her sisters which a friend had them all passed away the same time one passed before Hannah and the other made it to their birthday and passed, they all passed away with the same thing, just sad all around
