We have Border Collies on the farm, we have 3 right now. Once in a while they get the idea to chase coyotes, when they get near the yard. Two have gone missing this year, missing might be the wrong word.

You need bigger dogs Julie. My sister always has a couple really big dogs to watch the farm yard and normally don't have any problems with the coyotes. I remember a time where there were not that many coyotes around but now they're everywhere. Even out here in LA they run through my neighborhood at night. If I see one I chase it as far as I can hoping that it might make the coyote a little more "scared" of people. Probably not, but at least I try...

Loki, I have been watching all from above in Doggie Heaven for as long as possible!

I am Miss Dixie, a former Southern belle and one of Jeb’s past Jack Russells. Since I am a vain southern lady, my avatar is from my youth. In doggie heaven we can look anyway we want without Benny’s help.

As a sister Jack Russell I am always here if you need any help with all of those humans and any other pesky dogs like Ms Stinkie. First, in time you will train your humans, once they understand that you know best and are not going to change very much just because they go nuts over such little unimportant things. Next, Loki you must be very careful of those Monster Steal creatures with giant wheels that dumb humans somehow drive around without looking for us. Many of my Jack Russell friends ended up in doggie heaven due to those dang giant wheels. As for Ms Stinkie, I had to put up with my share of many other types of dogs. Best if they figure it out and just ignore you. Hopefully, she will forget about you, go back to sleep and stop trying to ban you.

Please post any questions here for me, but understand that I am very far away and the connection is sometimes very slow. You are very blessed to have Vicky as a master. Your life looks almost like heaven on earth to many of us up here. Just wait till Rokkerr gets Vicky a few horses and a stable. What great fun to hang out there everyday and maybe there will be more Jack Russells there to play with soon.
