Julie and LFP6 and the rest of the gang,

There is a Monty Python post and threads established here at the member's board sometime last year.. I believe Rokkerr authored it. Just be on the look out for it.

Dave even has a Youtube video link of Ringo Starr. And of course, Michael Palin as the talk show host - being the older gentleman that he is - who becomes depraved and crazy after listening to the Monty Python theme music way too much.

I've been talking to a guy for a while now, we met in the library at university innocent

He's a 3rd year med student, went to the same high school as I did, he's 5 years younger then me. He grew up on a farm about 40 miles from where I live.

We went out last Friday night to a dance at The Power Plant it's an awesome club here. Within a hour after we got there I started to feel so sick I told him I had to leave. He thought I was dumping him I said your a med student see if I'm faking. He checked my neck and forehead then said get home your sick. Anyway he asked me if I want to go see a movie Saturday night so I said sure.

I told him in May I'm going to work as an assistant trainer at one of the oilsand work camps in Northeast Alberta (700kms from where I live). He started to laugh and told me he'll be working at a hospital in Northwest Alberta.

I'm kind of excited and really nervous too

So how far is it from the Northeast Oilsands where you will be working to the Northwest Hospital where he'll be working?

If there was a road it would be a 3 hour drive. Instead you have to drive almost to Edmonton then go north the other way, about a 12 hour drive. he's going to be working in Peace River.

Hey Julie:
I read your story and I'm sorry about what happened with the first two guys (a married guy? that really went sour). My advice (not that I'm an expert or anything, I'm just a guy who did a looooot of mistakes, ha): just relax and focus in yourself, if something is meant to be, it will be. You'll know when something is worth doing. And when I say that you'll know, I don't mean that you'll "magically" know. I just mean that things have a way to work around, sometimes is pretty obvious, sometimes is not, you just need to have the right attitude, and enjoy the moment. You're alive, so enjoy life! (the rest is just a bonus). I love my wife and I'm so happy with her, but, as I mentioned before, I did so many mistakes before meeting her, that I never thought I would be married and happy... and here I am!, he. I hope everything's going good!

I had to cancel tonight, I get asked out so much so no big deal DAMM!

He knows I'm sick so he came over and brought me some roses. I invited him in to watch a movie. I put on The Trailers Park Boys (it's Canadain so most of you most likely haven't heard of it) it's so stupid it's funny, but I fell asleep in about 15 minutes, woke up and he was gone. Maybe he'll phone me in a few days.

My stereo's here, damm my i pod's gone.

He's taking me out Thursday after my last exam :bigjump: :460:

Then on Friday a bunch of us are going skiing, it's the last weekend that Marmont Basin is open :ski: if I'm up to it. He can't go he has 3 more finals next week.
