WHO IS PAYING THE MOST (OR LEAST) IN THE WORLD FOR GAS????

When I headed to Tulsa from Dallas, on Gasbuddy.com I found a station near my sisters selling for $2.119. Once I got close I started thinking, "Oh, I'll just go to Sis's now and fill up sometime before I leave on Fri." Then I started thinking, "Oh, go fill up. You might not want to go out once you've settled in." So, i filled up.

Next day Sis had to go up there to get something, so I rode along. Same station was up to $2.199. For once, it went in my favor. For the 15+ gallons I bought, I saved $1.20.

Oh, and $1.329 not counting the exchange rate, is nearly 4 times what I'm paying here. I feel for you, Julie, and Mike and Shanda and Canada.

Such a sick world we live in most of the time, right? Dx I actually have to put in gas today or soon, because it's at half tank and I don't like it going beneath that. And it takes 20 bucks to fill half up, even. :')

$20 would get me maybe 100kms, at least it went down to $1.25.9 here. I was told we had the jump in price because a refinery in the US screwed up. Now I really don't get that at all cause all our gas and oil is refined right here. I can see it affecting eastern Canada and BC, cause they don't want new pipelines from Alberta, so fuck them and let them pay, I know Mike would be able to explain this better

I don't think anyone can explain gas prices, Julie. They go up and down at will. Prices are supposed to be going down for the summer. But here, we're back up in the $2.50 range (from $2.20.) El Paso currently has the highest prices in Texas, and no one knows why. Gas companies use any excuse what so ever to raise prices. Refinery maintenance in New York? Raise prices in California. Refinery in Edmonton goes off line for a week? Raise prices in Texas. Those people, plain and simple, get away with murder and blatant thievery.

They are all scammers....you should think that the gas pirice shuold go down when the oil price is so low right? But now they say gas price has little to do with the oil price...but when the oil price high they blame the oil price....

Gas here in IL, specifically Chicagoland, is $3.30/gallon because allegedly a refinery needed emergency repairs

Here in South Carolina it is running from $1.81 to $1.88 a gallon!!

In Anchorage Alaska, it's running between $1.89 and $1.97 a gallon, or diesel which is running around $2.07 a gallon, and yes I do have a diesel car, the new and 'improved' diesel (low sulpher) doesn't give exactly the same results that the 'old' diesel did, but I still get about 45 mpg on the open road between the clinic and downtown Anchorage, so I guess I'll keep it..lol Besides I've modified it to burn bio-diesel, or used french fry oil, and the aroma of 'burned' french fry oil reminds me that I need to stop and grab some fries on the way home from the hospital......lol

Finally under $2.00 a gallon here in Florida... they say it's going down to the $1.50 range :)

I heard on gas buddy that gas is going up 7 cents/l across Canada cause a refinery in Ohio is fucked up. What has that got to do with us really? I don't even know where the hell that is, all I know about it is they have a couple baseball teams and a hockey team somewhere, maybe a football team, I don't know.

When there is a refinery shutdown in Ohio (even for scheduled maintenance,) they raise the prices in Western Canada. They use the Ohio excuse to justify that. Their thinking is that the people will say, "Oh, then that's ok for a while." They are not aware that their marketing strategy does not work on HotJulieJewel.

Saw my first stations under $2.00 tonite, with 3 @ $1.99. At Wal-Mart, that means $1.96 with their shopping card. I'm tempted to drive to Tucson and back just so I can fill up at the cheap prices.

I paid 1.86/gallon for low lwad 89 octane with my discount card at Fred Meyer up in Anchorage yesterday, that's the lowest I've seen it so far, and considering they pump the oil out of our ground, you'd think it'd be cheaper, but....

Gas did go down to 99.9/l here but went back up to 1.19.9/l, I filled up yesterday 87l for the low price of $105, put that in US dollars and it's about $140!
