How much is gas there? Was tear gas really necessary? That stuff is disgusting! I watched my brother doing a military training exercise with it and it was just brutal!

Hey Ya'll!!
Here in Central GA it is around $2.00 to $2.10 for "regular" gas; in GA there is 10% ethanol in the gas (87 Octane). There is places that sell gas w/out ethanol but it is more expensive & 91 to 93 Octane.
I buy groceries, etc at Kroger Stores, not sure how many states have them. With the Kroger "card" I get 10% discount per gallon for every $100 spent over 2 month period. With all that being said, two days ago I had a 30 cent per gallon discount & paid $1.73 for regular.
GA gets a lot of gas from the Tex/La refineries by way of pipelines that run from there to storage facilities scattered across the state. Any disruption from there to here (hurricanes, broken pipelines, floods, etc) creates jumps in prices quickly.
Around 2015 prices had dropped into the $1.70 range, but the prices rise & fall over time so what goes down must go up, lol.

But meanwhile the stockmarket is taking a dive.. go figure. Why can't the price of oil go down mean that businesses have lower overhead... meaning they make more money... which is good for the economy.

You would think that but it reality lower gas prices actually can or sometimes means the economy isn't doing as great as everyone thinks. Economics is real weird.

Dang, the bottom fell out here in El Paso. Wasn't that long ago it was around $2.50. Couple weeks ago I filled up for $2.15. Yesterday I went out, as saw prices as low as $2.07. Then saw $2.03 at a 7-11. 7-11 for crissakes. They're usually about the most expensive.

Gas Buddy is showing prices from as low as $1.98 to around $2.15.

Gas is even going down here, I paid $1.15.9/l last night, not great but better then the $1.50 a few months ago

$1.97 everywhere here in Tampa now! Dave said it was $3.50 everywhere in LA last week. Just another reason to live here!

1.82 at the Kroger near our house(got points you can get the gas even cheaper), lowest in the city of Memphis is 1.71. Also thanks to Walt with the hookup with gasbuddy, that sure helps out.
