Didn't you say alphabetically by group OR song? If so, then, "Good Loving" by The (Young) Rascals. Don't have a copy. If not by song, then next batter up for "G."

Dream on, you old testosterone relic. Let me take you way back to a time when you can relax and let your mind dream about those pin-up girls that you weren't allowed to see but somehow managed to sneak a peek at when one of your buddies got hold of a picture. Here's Johnny Mathis with 'I'm coming home'.

Let me know if there's a problem with the link. :walt:

Of course I remember that one, "Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together." Well, something like that. (no, I didn't look.)

I'm betting no one knows this one; Motor City 5 - "Kick Out The Jams," Brothers and Sisters. The MC5 was a loud, raucous psychedelic/early hard rock band out of, where else, Detroit, in the late 60's at the high point of the Hippie era. (Many will remember Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels.)

They are representative of Detroit Rock of that era. If you listen to this, the sound level is pretty high, so you may want to turn your speakers down a bit. The video, to me, pretty much reflects the state of the art of concert recording back then. And the Mitch Ryder vid reflects the lip synching that was done for television appearances, generally not too well. It's amazing how far we've come. I mean, listen to Scotty Moore's guitar on Elvis' recordings and realize that in 1957, that was the state of the art of Rock and roll guitar. Then, by 1969 you had Alvin Lee doing "I'm Going Home." And, now, well....

Not really meaning to double up on these, K'man, They both just seem to fit the particular situation (era and style.)

The ultimate madman has to be Keith Moon, drummer with The Who.
Their music was great, their performances stupendous and their life style was rock and roll to the max.
