it's been a good week plenty of sunshine but a wind has kept the temperatures down to comforable.
However we now move into a 4 day holiday for the Queens Jubilee and rain is forecast,we just can't have a publc holiday here without rain.

I was at the BIG 4 concert last year and in the VIP section. All the bands kicked ass.

We're staying between about 97 - 101 (36 - 38C) here in El Paso. It's very dry here.

(OK, all together now,) HOW DRY IS IT???

It's so dry that when I paid my bills, I had to pin the stamp on.

It's so dry here I saw a tree chasing a dog.

It's so dry here, I pee sand.

It's so dry here, if you call the fire dept, they bring hot dogs and have a weinie roast.

Without looking, I know that low 20's C is around 73F, very pleasant and nice. But I also know that your winters are, shall we say, a "tad" colder than what we get too, lol.

It's been storming here, came up on us really fast... it's been spitting and raining off and on the last few days, but all of a sudden we got a nice storm right over us. It was blowing hard, thundering and lightning, the water level is really high and the waves were coming over the seawall.... lots of trash came in from the gulf, what shame. Anyway, I kept on hearing this banging, really loud, i went outside and a boat had drifted over and was hitting the dock in the yard next to us. It must have come loose from somewhere else and just floated over.... the waves were causing it to crash into the dock damaging the boat. No one knows who it belongs to. We called the coast guard and they are looking at it now....

If the owners are law abiding (good luck with THAT, lol) there should be a registration number on it. I think that is a requirement about everywhere.

So far this week hasn't been as bad as the forecast predicted from last week. Sometimes it good when the weather person is wrong.

It was up to 90 or so today in North Dakota, but it felt nasty. The little breeze we'd get was just as warm.
