It's a beautiful day here -8 and snowing hard. This afternoon I'm going sledding with the basketball teams, their families and friends. I made a toboggan out of cardboard and duct tape. We're going to a hill they call 911, sounds like a great place! Going to have a bonfire with hotdogs, marshmallows and hot chocolate. After we're all going to my place for our end of the year party

You know you live in a cold clime when you can be comfortable outside with your jacket open at 23F. When I used to visit Detroit from Alaska in the winter. I'd go outside at 35F in a shirt and people thought I was nuts.

so Oakland's weather is just odd this winter sunny and 70f sunday rainy and 50f monday sunny and 62f yesterday today it should be in the mid60's f.
i think because of the bay and the hills we are own micro climate

Yesterday it was +2 here sunny and so nice. We had a BBQ some friends were over. It started to snow and this morning we had to dig out, the people across the street she was in a hurry to go to church and tried to drive her smart car through a drift. Her car is hung up and when she got out I asked "how did that work out for ya?" She told me when we moved here we're going to hell cause I don't go to church. So she asks if we would tow her out, I said yes and drove in front of her car and hooked to tow rope to my truck and handed her the other end and told her to hook it up. She she didn't know how to do it and said for me to do it. I said no cause if I tear something off I have to pay for it and to get her ass under there and hook it up. My truck is back in out driveway and she's still stuck

We're digging out of a nice dump of snow Sunday evening and Monday. Big fluffy layer. Would have been fun to get to work on a sled behind a bunch of Huskies!
