Well folks..... a lot of us from time to time talk about the weather so I thought I would put one place on here to let your fellow VNA crew members know how it is in your part of the world. It is blazing hot here in Atlanta, about 95 degrees and getting hotter by the hour.

Anyone know how we could maybe put an interactive weather map on here?

Where I'm at it's about 50F it will be in the 40s when I wake up. Tomorrow around 50F maybe a bit warmer,it's great for jogging in, but it's not HOT

Hot here in Nashville. 90's in the day with 70's at night. Of course, it has to be much hotter on the Trio's side of the tracks.

About the same here as K'man. Humidity running around 40% (usually closer to 20%.) Here we mostly have swamp coolers, which don't work over about 50% hum. Then it's like a sauna in here. In those cases, it's better to go sit outside in the shade.

It's been in the mid 90's over here. 5:00 this morning it was still 70 degrees.

Nasty ass storm for about 20 minutes here in Georgia that knocked out the power for about 30 minutes.... damn that rebooted my modem.......

Sadly, that doesn't appear to be a desireable option for the intended recipient.

Oh yes!! I`m UP for the task...

This weekend at home it was around 90 that might be normal for you in the south, but it was so hot. Then when I got back to work its 50 and raining I was so cold where's the medium

We've been pretty nice here, actually. Low 90's, low 70's in the AM.

The temperatures in the part of New York where I live are allright - in the upper 80s - it's just the humidity which I can't stand. We constantly need the A/C in July and August. Plus with this haziness, humidity, and being so hot like this, in come the lightning and thunderstorms. Those are never fun. Yikes!!

Folks in Florida are getting it pretty bad today.....

Seriously, I heard that "Faye" was on the way up -- going across Florida and up to Georgia and South Carolina. Most likely by this weekend.... Be safe Vicky and Dave!!!

We haven't got much yet, just some wind. Sure is nice to get a break from the heat! Could use the rain, although not torrents of it. Lake Lanier still not back to normal.

Don't ask me why I had the bright idea to suggest going to South Carolina when Hurricane Hanna is on the way..... but yes, there is the distinct possibility of a vacation with not only Hanna but Ike this week..... hot on the heels of our most recent hurricane... Hurricane Tera
