Ohhh boy, fun time is over. It's already clouding up and we are supposed to get a roaring cold front during the night. It won't freeze our assets off (the banks did that), but we could get a freeze on October 23, which is two and a half weeks earlier than average. El sucko.

Same here in Georgia Pete... I think that winter is suddenly upon us.... much colder at night!

Since the weekend Jolly Old England has been fine.

Hey, Pete. Glad to know you're a neighbor. I guess by now you're feeling the cold front that is moving/has moved thru. I left Atlanta on Monday and stayed in Dallas a couple days. Temps dropped there yesterday morn, then it was windy all the way home. The temp never went above 65 on my li'l in-car thermometer. Here at home, 48 this morning and forecast high of 65 again. They say it will be 80 on Sunday, but back to low 70's by Monday.

That's cold OMG this weekend they say this weekend it may hit 30 and lows in the teens and they said maybe snow

i am temporarily in alabama, and the weather is pretty great. perfect time of year to open all the windows and do a little fall cleaning.
but only during the day....
i screwed up and left my bedroom window open last night and woke up freezing my ass off!

Raining... pouring.... Atlanta's winter is upon us....

I'm heading out to the beach today. It's sunny, clear and 86 degrees. Man, it really sucks to be a California boy.

ahhhh but don't you miss things like the leaves going from green to gold to brown to falling off to rain to sleet to snow on the ground to shoveling to slipping on the floor to blowing all the leaves away to pressure washing your home to ice on the ground?

Just asking....... I used to live in California, while it was beautiful most of the time, it could get kind of boring with perfect weather most of the time....

Yep, Old Karnak. That just popped into my head from somewhere. I miss Johnny. I bought his DVD collection a couple years ago. Such funny stuff.

Yeah, me too. Although Steve Allen and Jack Paar did a great job on the Tonight Show, nobody could quite improvise and josh with the guests like Johnny Carson. I loved Art Fern's Teatime Matinee Movie with Carol Wayne (Vavoom! ).

There was 8 of us; Eric, Dave and Darrell (all married) Bob (my ex's best friend), Chris, Ronda, Vanessa and I. We were all running onto the grass and made snow angels mine kept looking like this Vanessa and I were topless no one else took anything off it was really tame!
