I hope my back is real strong again by then, if it was today i would not ride the bull. I ran/walked 1.5 miles each with skittles and loki separately, then skittles and i rollerbladed 5 miles together on the trail, poor thing, he's sleeping now, his little legs kicking and whimpering... I'm sure he's dreaming about our rollerblading, lol....

I KNEW I had it somewhere.

Last time I was in Florida, Vicky wanted to get together with Carmen and Charlee and make an exercise tape. She asked me if I would record it, and, of course I agreed. Then, I lost the damn thing. But after due diligence, I finally found it. So, here, at long last, is the official Vicky Vette Workout Video.

I heard that it sold 3 copies, one to the Anaheim, Azusa and Cucamonga Book Review, Sewing Circle and Timing Association, and one to the Grace L. Fergusen Airline and Storm Door Company.

The third, I heard, went to the ex-NFL Fullbacks retirement home.

EDIT: Don't know why my damn video isn't showing up. Ruined my damn joke. YouTube, I HATE that! lol.

But, if you right click the box, select "Go To Copied Address," it will take you to the video at YouTube.

Damn YouTube.... Ruint my damn joke, lol

Went skiing at Big White today, first time on skis in about a year, damn I had so much fun. I have to tell you I'm really sore, just haven't done that for so long and some kick ass whip outs! I hit a mogal and caught an edge when I landed, I slid about 200' feet till I stopped, thanks to a tree. I think Gunther worries to much when I'm out there, not sure why I'm always in some kind of control. Now it's time for a hot bath and a hot chocolate

I would love to ski with you Julie, you can probably teach me a lot! I went to boxing this morning, so glad my back is better. I have a new appreciation for it! lol... There was a 72 year old man training with the other trainer, and boy he was impressive. He wasn't hitting super hard, but he never stopped. He kept going for 30 minutes straight. Double jab, right, left, duck, hard right, left, block, 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, slip. There is no way in hell I could do that. A five minute round and I'm on the floor gasping for air!

"Slid 200' then slammed into a tree," Gee, I have no idea why Gunther should be worried. Just because new wifey is gonna be a paraplegic before she's 30, what's to worry? :lmfao:

It takes a while to find out what your limits are. A few weeks ago, one of my troops asked for me to help pace him during a leg of his 50 mile ultramarathon on Destin's Beaches (beautiful beaches in northwest Florida). The Destin 50 is a great race to help raise money for the US Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Anyway, I planned to only run 5-10 miles with him. Before the run, the most I ever did was maybe 8-12 miles for high school and when I was training with my Army buddies for the Army 10 Miler in DC. So I showed up to the beach with my camelbak, two liter bottles of water, extra sweatshirts, and a light medical kit. I met up with him after he finished his 30 mile mark and I ran with him chatting with him and trying to keep him pushing when he was ready to quit. After I finished, I didn't realize it, but I ended up running 22 miles on the beach. Normally, I run 5-10 miles a week to maintain my form for military fitness. I was a little sore for the next two days, but it was for a good cause and I realized my limits are far greater than I thought.

Just something to think about Julie. :D

Since Julie has taken a short hiatus, I thought I'd offer a couple thoughts so you know, Chibiknight. Julie is/has been in quite good shape. She is very athletic, and was once a trainer at a gym. She had some health issues involving her heart, and so was "ordered" to slow down. So, she still skis and stays as active as possible. But she can't quite maintain the level she did previously.

Go to the "The VNA Mosh Pit" topic and look for Julie's "I have a date" and her "In Court"" threads for a good history - and some pretty funny reading.

I think tweeting a nice picture of your "Legs! Legs!" will make him forget about what happend. :lmao:

On a serious note, though ... Bretzky, that doesn't look good, man. Been to the doctor already or will it heal itself?

Yes a kiss from Vicky will make it better, so too would a pic of her legs. :-))))

GJ - no worries, I've had this quite a few times. Dark bruising then it's the dried up blood needing to go somewhere. I believe it's called a hematoma? I probably spelled that wrong. Deep bruising of the muscle tissue. Something to be proud of, a hocley injury. :-)

Doesn't seem too bad. As long as you can walk/run on it; all is well. :-D

Monica came to the 8 am boxing fitness class with me on tuesday morning, yes they all loved her big boobies bouncing up and down, but the best was when she changed tops by the front door instead of going to the bathroom to do it... I said "Monica, this is not Norway! You can't change in public." She said, "what's the big deal? I have my bra on?" And that my friends, is the difference between our two countries....

I agree with her. You can appear at the beach in your bikini. You can even appear on the street in it. But you can't appear on the street in your bra, which, chances are, is bigger than your bikini top.
