I finally found an exercise doctor that is able to give me the help I need. So, I asked him about it.

"Dr, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is that true?"

Dr Wokitoff: "Heart only good for so many beats and that's it. Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer. That like saying extend life of car by driving faster.

Want to live longer? Take nap."

The Dr. gave me the go ahead to do leg workout and to run again... its been 6 weeks.... OMFG I'm in pain today! Did leg workout for first time on Monday night, then ran 3 miles yesterday morning. I sucked so badly, did way lower weights than usual, less reps, ran much slower and I'm in agony today... That's only from taking 6 weeks off! It's just not fair!

not allowed to lift anything over 10 lbs anymore so don't do weights anymore, just mainly walking. I miss doing my strongman outdoor lifting and carrying things, like rocks, and logs etc.

I got up the nerve to step on the scale today I've been avoiding it..... lol.... with good reason! I freaked! Not gonna tell you the weight but I gained a pound a week since my knee surgery 6 weeks ago! Oh well, I guess now I have to lose a pound a week to get back to normal. I ran on the treadmill again this morning it was better than it was on tuesday! 32.30 minutes for 3 miles. By mid next week i should be back to my 30 min. I'm going to go to the HIT classes at my gym on Mon/Wed nights too, that should help.

I'm back to 5 days a week now, sometimes 6. I'm doing my bootcamp classes Mon-wed-fri and Running Tues/Thurs and soy or Sunday too if I'm up early enough! It was 90% humidity this morning at 7:30 am.

At 90% humidity, I'm not sure I could run to the fridge for a cold beer, LOL

VIcky has to keep in shape. Every time I go to a VNA convention, I chase her around the VNA booth. :nannerfuck2: :cheerleader:

I'm trying to diet once again... I just can't deal with myself or even look at my body. x(
I'm trying to eat a salad at least once a day and eat healthier snacks. I'm trying to eat whatever the serving size is too because my huge problem is overeating.. And eating toxic waste, unhealthy food. I have to start going to the gym too. I just hate it because I work night shift so the only way I'll go is if I go right after work so I'll be tired from being up so many hours straight. I can't win. It'll probably take my whole life to lose all the pounds...if even then. 😩

Can wait to go running in Cancun! If we think it's humid in Tampa it's even worse there! I brought liquid IV with me! That stuff is amazing!

I tried that and Hydrant, unfortunately being diabetic they use sugar which shoots my sugar readings up. I get me Powerade or Gatorade Zero, anything that doesn't have sugar in it.

Makes sense, yes not recommended for diabetics! They say if you put it in one bottle of water it's equivalent (electrolytes) to drinking 3 or 4 bottles of water. Which is perfect after running 3 miles on the Quintana roo jungle trail! Last time I got lost haha! It ended up a 5 mile run unintentially! You have no idea the thoughts that were going through my head!

I try a little dieting on occasion, Kirstie. The secret is to get a string of time together. Once I got all the way to a full 20 hours before I gave in, 🤣

After I came home from Thailand, I have started jogging again. I had not been jogging since september last year. So I started slow with a track that is 2,5 km. Today was the first time I ran it twice. 37 minutes on 5km, I am in bad shape lol. In september it was about 34/35 minutes lol

It will always come back though Steiner you will get better...your body has a memory!

Kirstie you could go to the gym before you go to work? Just grab whatever you need and take a shower at the gym and go straight to work from there? You will be super tired in the beginning the first couple of weeks of doing that is rough but you will build up stamina...

I work 11pm-7:30am and my sleep schedule is so screwed up, because my body wants to be up during the day, so I end up staying up for long periods and then barely get sleep. Some days, I'll sleep from when I get home, and stay up an hour or two, then take a nap before work. I've had a membership for the gym for a year now and I haven't used it in months, so my money is wasting away from it. The gym is almost 20 minutes away and I hate that so it's the main reason I don't go. A few times these past two weeks, I'll try to walk after work for an hour or two, and on the weekend, me and Josh took a hike each day and got a couple miles in. I'm trying to move around more now but I get so tired. I keep telling myself to get back to the gym, because the only way I'll lose weight is if I do rigorous shit. Even though I enjoy walking, it'll never help me lose weight. My body's way past that point. 😔 One of these mornings after work, I'll end up driving to the gym and then maybe I'll keep at it.

I already broke my diet about 5 times in the past two weeks since I've started it, so. 😭 I miss grease and sugar!!

Yes, get in the habit of going to the gym right after work, on your way home. If you go home first, you'll never get back out there.

2. Sleep. Get yourself a bottle of ZZZQuill (Equate at Wallymart.) Wait until you're about 6-8 hours from work. Then take a dose. Wait 1/2 hour, then go lie down. You'll wake up, take your shower and get ready for work. You'll get there refreshed and ready to go. Then, after work, you should still be in good enough shape to hit the gym or the park. 2 or 3 or 4 days and you should be into the routine.
