or just cook bacon constantly, they'll love you then too.

Another one of my aims this year is indeed to get myself a pet, and while I would love a dog because I am at work during the day I really wouldn't want to put a dog through that, especially a rescue one, just leaving it alone for 10 hours out of the day 5 days of the week... it wouldn't be kind to him or her at all.

Very much so... I couldn't do that to a pup. So basically just have to get myself motivated to be more active without!

You can always go to the shelters on the weekends and take them for walks...... It gets them out of their cages and more used to people and makes them more adoptable......

As soon as I saw the chair, I knew it wasn't going to end well.

The city I live in has a community center where residents can use a gym, shhot pool and watch TV, shoot hoops in an indoor gym and other activities. Glad my taxes are getting me something.

I'll post a pic after a few workouts. No one needs to see the "before" me 🤣

I've been told to cut diet coke out of my diet... but it's my one last vice!!! Well that and porn...
hey if it has 0 calories it ain't stopping you from losin weight, screw em! Lol
Are we talking about Diet Coke or porn lol.... I think that Diet Coke is still bad for you because even though it's fake sugar with 0 calories, your body doesn't really know the difference between fake sugar and real sugar and still acts the same way.... Increasing insulin production and stimulating hunger......
My buddy mentioned this to me yesterday about the body not knowing the difference between fake and real sugars....totally makes sense :)
I stopped drinking Diet soda years ago. I lost 10 pounds in a couple weeks. It's just as bad for you. I try to drink very little of it and stick to sugar free water based drinks or just water.

My feeling is that most people don't wipe down things after they use them, like they're supposed to.

In an attempt at making myself accountable in trying to make myself feel healthier and just all around better about myself, get myself into a bit better shape, his week I have been going out every evening and walking 2 miles. I am about to head out for tonight's walk around the block now. I started on Sunday evening and so far haven't skipped a night doing it and I intend to keep doing so to try and improve my cardio a bit and then hopefully add further exercise into my week as my energy levels increase.

It will work Stevie especially if you walk at a fast pace ( Not just meandering along but brisk enough and swing your arms while you're walking, like power walking but doesn't have to look so silly..) just to get your heart going a little bit.... I've seen people who is wait doing this.....

Thank you Vicky and Rokkerr... I am getting a little puffed out from doing this but that will improve if I am consistent. I am averaging (according to my watch tracking me) just over 18 minutes per mile and it's a little over 2 miles when I get back to my front door... so I am certainly not dawdling and my only break in walking is when I have to stop for the odd passing car (as it's pretty much little single country lane most of the road I am walking) and also if there's a friendly kitty cat that wants to come over and say hello. But yes, first week of this down and I plan on continuing!

You also don't have to go from doing nothing to all of a sudden doing it every single day! You could start by doing it every 2nd day or 3rd day and building up slower to every day!
