Bossman, I don't think we need MS-Encoder anymore, no reason to download or upgrade that, Camz is completely flashbased now....

I have phonecalls and emails in to Video Secrets (that's where the vs-feeds comes from), and also in to webair, (that's where I get the broadband theatre). I can't recreate the errors you are having, so it has to be some setting or browser requirement, those links work for about 90% of the members as far as I can tell, but I'll get a handle on it this week, and let you know ok?

Print this out so you can follow it. It should work. If your browser and Java and Flash are up to date, just try step 4. Doing steps 1 - 3 should ensure everything is right.

2) Java - http://www.java.com/en/
3) YouTube - http://www.youtube.com

Oh, Walt is so cool! I am so happy. I got my button back. Yay, Me!! I'm the hero. Walt is a GOD! All the girls love Walt -- (ok, even I'll agree, that last one is pushing it a bit... ) But, that's a great feature, and it's nice to have it back. Hope this helps everyone. Also, while you're at it, it wouldn't hurt to go thru that "Disabled Add-ons" list for other things you might want enabled.

Great, Benny! You had me worried for a minute. I thought for sure I had solved the problem, then you came in and said it still didn't work. So, you were on an older 'puter? What OS? Not sure why it would work on one and not another.

Walt, I' ve followed the above instructions, but still no luck. can't view cams, theater or vs feeds. When I open IE it says add ons are disabled, but when I check in the manage add ons window, it says everything is enabled. any suggestions on this? I'm confused, any help would be appreciated.

No more ideas here. When going thru the add-ons list, be sure that any that even seem to be helpful are enabled. Make a list so you can go back and disable any you enable. Then start and restart IE.

I can't get to Camz thru Vickys site directly but I can link to it thru Ninas(Ninacam) and very curiously thru Housecams(michellelynn currently showing). Any tech wizard got a suggestion?

Thanks for the tip. I tried the Housecamz link and was able to get into Camz as well after clicking on the name of the performer.

Vicky, is this supposed to happen?? If so, I'll do that from now on to watch camz shows.

It's really strange that you can get in through Nina's, because even Nina's members couldn't get in, that's why I put my link on Nina's site.. if you notice when you click on Nina's camshow link, it sneakily brings you back to a page on my site, and then redirects to camz.. look at the url... it was a trick I had to do, to get her members to camz because her link wasn't working....

This befuddles me... the only conclusion I can come to is that some browsers are having an issue with the flash buttons... so I put text links next to the VNA THEATRE, CAMZ FEEDS and VNA Cams Archives buttons... can you guys: Steve, Vectis and Crank do me a favor and see if the text links work for you?

Also can you see if you can get into camz from the button on the guest page? That would prove or disprove my theory....

Vicky, It's really weird, but it didn't work before I checked the board but now everything seems to be fine. Now I can go back to watching your cam shows & not missing them. I also tried from the guest page and that worked also. Hope it works for everybody else now too.

This was strange because I used to get cams fine then all of a sudden the trouble started. Hopefully it's all corrected for good now.

OK I put in text links next to all the flash buttons that people had trouble with. (Eventually I will replace all the flash on the site with plain old graphics - it doesn't work on my blackberry either, and I want it to - the technology is just not there yet, and there are older browsers and older configurations still around... )

I think every single person should now get every single link to work. Would you guys mind testing them all out for me? If the button doesn't work, click the text link below it. Can you report back here so I can put this to rest? Vectis? Crank? Steve? Walt? Stiffy? Every browser should now work? (fingers crossed)

It seems you were right about the buttons, Vicky. Using the text works fine for me now.It's a shame those buttons caused you so many headaches, but you did a great job figuring it all out & fixing it. Many thanks!!

I'm finding all of this quite amusing, since I've had absolutely NO problems with the buttons, Flash or no Flash...and I'm using Flock rather than IE as my browser.

But...good to see that Vicky is on the case and that the issue was resolved. Them computer classes must be having some positive effect.....heheh
