RIP to my brother in law who passed away over the weekend from a rare form of throat cancer which spread into his brain. He was a good soul who played and performed as a drummer... entertaining a lot of people in the process. My sister lost a good one...

Amazing, 2 days after he died, his mother died as well. We are just surrounded by death this year. It sure makes you think.

Thank you everyone.the funeral is tomorrow. They are expecting a big crowd maybe 150 people, he was very well loved. It's such a shame.

Didn't really know where to post it, but she has just passed. I didn't know her but I know a lot had encounters with her and it has hit them hard.

I met her in January. It's sad. I didn't know her super well. But I did learn in the 5 days at AVN, she wanted to be a big star in this industry. Which is such a tough goal to achieve. Especially, since the time in the limelight seems to become shorter and shorter for a lot of the big stars. My impression was very sweet, warm and young. She seemed to have a lot to offer the world. Had a genuine innocent manner about her. I viewed her outlook refreshing. She just seemed so happy to be at AVN and was in her element. There was something about her personality that made me think she would go far in this industry. Girls with warmth always seem to have longevity. Since a lot of this world is about having not only beauty but a genuine personality people connect with.

I believe she was also originally from northeastern Ohio, as well.

From reports, Jessica had underlying medical issues. At least it wasn't a personal issue. Still very sad, whatever the reason.

Well nobody knows anything for sure yet, but everyone in the industry says that she was an extremely heavy drinker, and that there was a lot of prescription drugs as well... Maybe just the wrong combination one night.

Yeah, it happens. People get buzzed and forget what they're doing or what they've already done. A NASCAR Crew Chief just died from a combination of opioids, cocaine and alcohol. We sometimes just don't realise what we're doing to ourselves.

I said to a friend that there seems to be an inordinate number of deaths in the adult industry lately, and he said no, he didn't think so. Open the newspaper or internet every single day and there are people dying left and right. Look at all the musicians and sports figures. He said maybe it just seems worse to me because it's a small industry and we all know each other or at least know of each other through someone else. I don't know anymore.
