I guess Lisa Marie hit me the hardest, being Elvis' daughter. To me, she was a little strange. I felt she had a dark "emo" side. I don't think I ever saw her smile. So I'm pretty sure that I liked her mainly because she was Elvis' daughter. She did seem to do popular music. But, my favorite, of course, is a video she did, interposing her dad singing the same song. But she was so too young - 54. You will be missed, Lisa. Have great fun singing duets with your dad.
Robbie Knievel was Evel Knievel's son. They were both crazy, lol. Evel came first. He was a motorcycle rider who loved doing crazy things, jumping over large objects. For example, he tried to jump over something like 25 cars once. He landed on the 22nd one. He tried to jump the Grand Canyon once. He had an escape chute. When he saw he wouldn't make it, he ejected and came down in his 'chute. They were both beaten up and broken from so many crashes. But, still, Robbie was only 60.
Next is Robbie Bachman. I don't know what he might have done beyond BTO. But as part of a group that had numerous songs to their credit and were quite popular, he contributed his share. Robbie was 69. Still too young.
I am so fucking lucky.
Here are a couple BTO's I like. The first I call "The Working Man's Lament," lol.

Next, when I'm on my way to Arizona and this comes on, I roll down my windows, crank it up and sing along, rolling on down the highway.

And Lisa Marie's duet with her dad. Rest in peace, all of you.

I can't listen to this song with out breaking down. I so wish that people could just give it up - all the anger, all the hatred. You hate someone because of their RACE? What the hell is wrong with you? We are ALL humans on this ball of dirt, struggling to live, trying to have a decent life, food to eat, a warm place to sleep. In the universe, we are so insignificant. If we don't put away the anger and the violence and the hatred, we are doomed as the Human Race.
