Ahh thanks Julie... I had to go back and check it. It's on page 9 of "I have a date" As it started out with Stiffy, then Walt, then Batracer, and lastly with Benny. Yes. It was all so funny.

John, everytime I make a 'very intelligent and meaningful comment' here ( :lmao: :lmao: ) Julie figures a way to sneak up behind me and (give me a zinger) shove a bat up my ass. It's got to where I have to sit down when I type :lmao:  (:lmao:  :iloveyou: dear.)

"This" is a demonstrative pronoun, this denotes something that is present or near in place or time, or something just mentioned, or that is just about to be mentioned.

i hope this, clear it up ? :bubblegum:

Ahh very good HT. Yes, proper English is always good. But what is strange here, is that I am taking lessons from you, whose native tongue and language is French...

:icon_confused: :icon_confused: :icon_confused: :icon_confused:

So funny indeed....

well i did graduate top of my high school english class, but don't hold it against me when i make some mistooks, my spell check only works half the time, and not so well the other half :bubblegum:

the funny thing about Qc is we're surrounded by english! english to the left of us, english to the right, below and above, just like Asterix and Obelix lol (we often compare ourselves to that toon, lol)

sure with bill101 we're making a strong case to stay french but to be honest i just like knowing other cultures.

if i understood more languages i would watch tv and movies in their native tongue when they come out, instead of translated in eng or fr.

there is one universal language, the language of love, si si si that's amore!

Johnnie Boy NY,

The evidence is clear that left wing socialized Canadian education is far better in Eastern Canada than say the Western parts like the Vancouver area!

Out in Western Canada, all US tax code is far more interesting than blab, blab, blab on Laptops! :lmao:  In those parts even the titles of the threads are often incorrect English. Maybe that is the future of how we must all learn to speak "Gay Geek?" Or NOT!!!!

A formal English teacher once noted: "Correct is correct and wrong is just rude, ignorant and dumb. Like showing up to your best friend's wedding in nothing but Hershey squirted underwear!"

Sorry, for "Gay Geeks" Hershey squirted underwear is likely formal dress! And this is communication "*~*%*... Yo Mon! ...jibe D dick on***69 hoME duuuuh" :wtf:

L&S May PIP! Or rip a huge rude FART soon.

PS John we think HT1's French tongue is all "69 69 69?"

In NYC, the legendary newscaster and former CBS anchorman, Walter Cronkite died last night at age 92 in Manhattan at his home. His family was around the bedside.

Gordon Waller (pictured on the right in the below photo with the brown hair) has passed on. He was 64... He suffered a heart attack. He died over here in the United States. In Connecticut.

He was in the famous 1960's duo group, Peter and Gordon.

Peter Asher (with the red hair and glasses pictured on the left) is the brother of Jane Asher. Jane Asher was Paul McCartney's girlfriend and fiancee, before he met Linda Eastman.

They sang, "A World Without Love," a song with a John Lennon/Paul McCartney moniker. Although Paul alone wrote it. It became a # 1 hit for them in the UK during April of 1964.

Since Paul was here in New York, doing the last night of the Citifield concerts .... Will he go to the funeral? Hmmmmmmmm?!! You first heard it here folks.

I remember Peter and Gordon well. They did a number of nice songs. 64 is too young for anyone to go (I'm 66.) Thanks for the update, John.

Very good video. I remember seeing either this performance or one very much like it on TV. He was good.

When you're as famous as these folks are, you have a lot of people hanging around. And they all want to please you. I guess you've all heard that Michaels doctor is under very close scrutiny for all the meds he provided. And they are saying that several of them should not have been taken together. No doubt, many people were profiting enormously by catering to him, not doing what was right by him but by doing whatever was necessary to stay in his good graces (and on his payroll.)

Such a shame and such a sad loss. The people who should have cared for him are the ones who killed him.

I'd give anything if I could Moonwalk as good as him. I guess you get there the same way you get to Carnegie Hall.

I can resist everything except temptation.

Taco Bell Chihuahua Dies

She charmed millions without ever saying a word, and managed to make fast food tacos adorable. Gidget, the Chihuahua best known for her Taco Bell ad campaign, died from a stroke on Tuesday night at age 15.

"She made so many people happy," says Gidget's trainer, Sue Chipperton. PEOPLE met both Gidget and Sue at a Hollywood animals photo shoot in February, where the pup was a consummate pro and delighted the crew with her playful nature.

The mostly retired actor lived out her days lying in the sun - "I like to joke that it's like looking after a plant," says Chipperton - and entertaining at shoots when her trainer brought her along. "Gidget," says Chipperton, "always knew where the camera was."

Les Lye passed away recently. Anyone in their 20's should remember him as any male adult on the canadian tv show "You Can't Do that On Television", but he had been acting for decades.

Recent WBC junior middleweight champion and 1992 U.S. Olympian Vernon Forrest was shot and killed Saturday night during an attempted carjacking, WSB Radio in Atlanta has reported, citing a police spokesman.

But Forrest had a gun and confronted the men, police said.

"The victim and suspect became involved in a brief foot chase," Lt. Meadows said. "At some point, gunfire was exchanged between the two of them. The victim was shot at least once in the head."

Forrest, 38, was fatally wounded by two semi-automatic weapons, according to police.

"At this point we have a general description of at least two black males driving a red Monte Carlo," Meadows said, according to the report.

Police said the suspects likely didn't know Forrest, whose girlfriend's young son was in the car when he was shot.

Forrest, who lived in Atlanta and was a native of Augusta, Ga., beat Sugar Shane Mosley twice in 2002. Forrest and Sergio Martinez, 34, were scheduled to fight Aug. 1 on Showtime.

However, Forrest, who hadn't fought since regaining the belt from Sergio Mora in a September rematch, suffered the rib injury training for an April tune-up fight against Jason LeHoullier.

Forrest, who had a 41-3 career record with 29 knockouts, withdrew from that fight and still hadn't recovered enough to go through with the fight against Martinez.

Information from ESPN.com's Dan Rafael was used in this report.
