That's great, Vicky. Could I make one little suggestion, please? That you change the 'est' at the bottom to 'EDT?' (It's currently Daylight time.) It might even be better to just change it to "Eastern time." That way it covers everything.

Mine is a Logitec. They seem to make pretty good products. Compared to the others in the cam rooms here, mine looks grainey and slightly 'fuzzy,' but it's also several years old (don't know the resolution.) I hope to get a new one soon. You can spend anywhere from $30 to $130 and probably more. Like all electronics products, you get what you pay for. So, I would suggest you get what you can afford up to around $50, then something higher if you can afford it.

Most seem to have 1.3 megapixel resolution at 640 x 480. Higher resolutions would, of course, cost more, so it depends on your usage. I would think that, for most home applications that the 1.3, 640x480 should do just fine.

I do all my shopping at Wal-Mart, simply because it's cheaper. (and I'm a cheap bastard haha

) I won't suggest Radio Shack. While I buy things there, it's usually cheaper stuff, maybe small components, etc (I'm a radio electronics technician, so do a lot of home electronics work.) To me, Radio Shack is the K-Mart of electronics. Some nice stuff, but a lot of crap, too.

So, my suggestion is to surf the net to find one you like and ask your friends what they have. Then find a retailer and go get it.
