it's probably best not to, this board can be accessed by 13 year olds, just post a nice dressed pic of yourself, and you should probably change your avatar too, I really don't want any legal problems, there is tons and tons of smut on my websites, let's try to keep this board a little on the softcore or implied nude side ok? I don't wanna go to jail........ or have some angry parent or group after me!
Vick...you'll need to get into one of the files (not sure off the top of my head) that came with the php software. Just a quick removal of "13" and replace it with "21" or whatever age you'd like, and upload it to the FTP or whatever you're using. Then you can get rid of the 13 year old question when you register.

Just a little notice to the age thing:
To be 100% sure, that no 13yr-olds read in this forum, you should configure the board like that, that you have to be registered to read and write in the forums.
That would be the most secure thing, that you don't get any legal problems. :)

One thing as an admin that you can do, Vicky and Frank, is to modify the disclaimer message to reflect the fact that this forum is for adults only and contains graphic sexual content and language. There is also a form that you can require prospective members to sign where they have to verify their age.
It may also be possible to require prospective members of this forum to join your Yahoo! group as well, as to take advantage of their policy of requiring adult profiles for all members of their adult groups.
I'm thinking of adding a Vicky Vette fan group to my long, long list of adult fan groups (I already have groups representin' for Nina Hartley, Kira Reed, and Shauna O'Brien (the latter two are exclusively softcore)); do you think that I should go ahead and do it??

Acknowledged, Vicky...but what I'm proposing is simply a fan tribute group of my own in addition to your Yahoo! group, just as an independent shrine of mine to your.....talents. That would be my own personal project, totally seperate from your group.
The idea of using Yahoo!'s requirement for adult profiles for membership in this board is just something that passed through my brain...nothing more. Simply ignore it if you wish.

And all that being said, herein prohibited to all persons under the age of 18. Plus doesn't the enrollment process through Hughesware.com. ask you your "age" at the time of purchase. Correct? You have to provide a valid credit card in order to join, they ask your age right there at the time of enrollment. The only other way a minor, under 18, can gain access to this site, is to have a stolen credit card or one that their parents have and are not aware of it being used that way. Now that is the parent's reponsibility to validate the activity on the card. Has there been a lot of rejections and chargebacks showing fraudulent charges? Billing companies flag all that stuff. Please speak with Hughesware about this matter. Also parents who leave the computer unattended without parental blocks should be responsible for any unauthorized activity that their children are causing/doing - looking at this site - when their parents are not home. Right? They - the parents - are the ones mainly at risk.
Most times - minors are not looking a chat room or members' board postings - they are looking at the picture galleries and videos and downloading this hardcore stuff to their ipods or their notebook PCs and laptops. Do you use the IP Addresses when validating subscriptions and monitor these IP addresses constantly especially while we, the members, are online viewing all the contents of this website... Tony D? That should also be part of the terms as stated in the contract.
Therefore you have no choice other than to keep the age restrictions set; under 13 and over 13 as who knows? You may have teenagers who idolize you!! - Just us guys will have to watch what we say, post and write here. We have to take responsibility for our own actions and keep you and Dave from out of harm's way. Which means if it's embarrassing or risque or can be construed as being embarrassing or risque - please don't send it, write it, or talk about it here, or in other parts of the members area, especially the chat rooms. As we must stop putting you and the website at any risk at all.

Maybe it should have been in the "Everything Else" area...however you'd want ask Vicky why she posted it here in the "Members Pics" area? I have no clue.
