This has honestly been one of the worst birthdays I've ever had... No friends around, half my family didn't even wish me a happy birthday. Just sitting in my room, drinking alone... Dealing with a situation that never had to happen, because someone is a PSYCHO...and I'm terrified to go out and do anything! Pounded down a bottle of wine in 45 minutes, woop! Yeah. Real good day today. *sarcasm* and who knows when this is going to end. 😔

Since you hadn't planned on getting back with him, you shouldn't have (spilt milk.) You have a fresh start. First, don't go looking for love. When it's right, it will come to you. Look around, Go to town and walk around. Look for something that looks interesting and check it out. Look for things you like, places to volunteer. There are MANY entities out there that could use help. If you get busy, you will get beyond this and start moving ahead.

My mother didn't remember my birthday (again) this year. She almost never does. Did your parents remember? I'll bet they did?! Maybe you should start every day by counting your blessings? Kirsty each day when you wake up, make a list of the things that you are thankful for. It will change your attitude.

thanks Walt, just family today, all friends live out of town, so got to party with everyone at Samantha's show. Want to try and celebrate my 40th with people next year.
