I got permission to post this update from Julie. So, with minor editing, here is word from Julie.

Hi guys, hope your doing good, I'm ok I guess eh! Sorry I've been so quiet, I really need to sort things out in my life. I want you to know I'm not feeling sorry for myself, but I am ashamed of myself. I do miss the interaction with everyone mostly, Vicky, Dave.... Of course I miss Ness so much!

I really screwed up when I got in the first place, now I'm in a crappy spot. I should get e-mail access Dec. 15th, barring any total brain meltdowns. I'm not sure if I screwed up my early release date, no ones saying, I'm guessing I did. :( I haven't made any friends here, I do talk to some. Most aren't in here for their personality, what does that say about me? If you can believe it I'm not perfect lol!

I have a routine everyday, have breakfast, go to the gym, read, write stuff down that I think of. Not much else to say, or that I can say you know. Love you (all) hugs and kisses

Email access on Dec 15th? That's the best news I've heard yet. Please keep in mind, folks, where she is. I would assume that email might be censored, just like packages and snail mail is, so be careful what you say when/if you do write. I would guess things like "you are innocent" would be taboo. (Rokkerr, could you put 'colons' or something around this smiley so it doesn't always pop up just from typing the word "inn*cent?") But I really don't know. We will have to tread lightly until we get more comfortable with what might/will pass.

Htx for the most welcome update on Julie,If you are in contact wth her again please assure her of our very good wishes, and that we miss her presence as much as she misses us.
I won't go into the travesty of justice that put her where she is ,just say that alternatives were available and more appropriate.

My hope is that we can assure her she has a place large in our eyes, that she has disappointed nobody and that she should stand tall and proud, not because she made a mistake, but because of the person she is.

I dont even realy know Julie but from what I've been told about her and the post she has writen I feel like I have knowen her a long time. Walt, thank you for the post about Hot Julie, when you hear from her again please let her know that I'm thinking of her. I hate the coniquinces but I'm proud of her for standing up for herself. If you should ever see this Miss Julie hold your head high and be proud of your self and who you are, we are all proud to know you and be considered your friends.

Thanks for posting here your update from our friend Julie. She's in our thoughts and I for one hope she is back with us soon. Also thanks to Dave; you summed things up perfectly.

If anyone wants to say anything to Julie you can PM me and I'll print it and give it to her dad. He goes to see her every other weekend, that's the best I can do as I still don't know where she's at. He'll see her next Sunday. I'm going to print the posts on this thread, so she will read what everyone said. I'll need to cut out some avitars. I think the posts should be ok, I have a sharpie if I think I need it. I'm trying to see her for Christmas day, would be the best gift for me and I hope her.

I gave Julie's dad all the PM's I got and the posts from here Thursday night. He said he won't go if the roads are bad, I got home a little while ago, and bad would be an improvement here. He said he might take Julie's truck it's a 4x4 with a lift kit and I don't know what else.

Tell her dad thanks for trying. Here's hoping he makes it, but he certainly shouldn't endanger himself. While it might be hard on Julie to wait one more week, you know she doesn't want him hurt.

Sorry I hate to say this folks but lift kit's and big tires dont help in snow and snow packed roads. The center af gravity is to high and the big tires dont put enough weight on the ground per sq. in. than narrow tires. It's all good for off road and ground clearance but thats it. They look cool to but they are not for me.

totally right dave12, but then again, you can just put cement bricks and sand bags in the bed, to weigh the truckd own. or if all else fails, carry your snowmobile or snowplow in your flatbed, lol

Got another update from Julie. It really sounds so upbeat and happy:

Hi everyone, hope your all doing good, you better be, Christmas is coming soon. I'm being good, I just hope can find a chimney here! I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, everything they have here and there's no mall

I want to thank you all for the wishes, you made me smile, laugh and cry. Thanks for believing in me, I'm a pretty good person despite my situation. Walt you made me cry lots and made me think. You know there's lots of people out there that are in worse ways then me. Kids with cancer, waiting for a cure that may come to late! Yet there never down about life, so why should anyone ever be upset with our situation.

I told Vanessa come see on Christmas Day, I really do miss her. Now I have a huge reason to count the days. You wrote so many things Walt it will take me some time to answer, but I am wearing my ruby shoes! If I land in Kansas I'm screwed (Walt here, I told her this: "To feel better, close your eyes, click your heels three times, and repeat, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home." In your mind, you will see us all, and you will be happy. I promise.")

Lets all remember I think it goes "Second star to the right and on till morning!" Can't wait till I get there with all of you!

My e-mail will be the same, Ness has to empty it for me and then everything as of the 15th will go through Corrections Canada before I see it. Same as when I send something, so keep everything on the level, yeah that coming from me!
