Twittering twats and tweets....

So I was completely against twitter when it came out, and to an extent I am still torn about using it, but since a ton of people do use it and since we are always looking for ways to expand the people that know about the VNA I caved into using it. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER YOU CAN TWITTER WITH ME. http://www.twitter.com/vickyvette. I'm actively using Twitter to promote the VNA girls and the current contest. I generally know who is a member and who is not so of course I do not mind writing back etc. I similarly know the non-members and ultimately end up having to cut them off when they end up taking too much time away from you guys. So, if you can put up with the constant calls for votes, the requests to join the site, and the other silliness... you are welcome to use it. Frankly if I was my follower I would unfollow me because I am constantly plugging this site, showtimes, and the girls. If for some reason there is for instance a change is showtimes.. you can check twitter to see if there is an announcement. There is a twitter widget on the members page as well, and in the next site redo, I will make it bigger.

I used to think Myspace was useless but I ended up using it to a great degree. Twitter is the same type of thing to me... a necessary evil.
What do I prefer you do? Post and interact here because the board allows me time to think, answer coherently and in a way that the masses cannot see... but twitter with me if you choose to along with the masses. You will always get my attention no matter where you post.

We have had Twitter for a bit and before it was so popular, but still don't like it. Lots follow Twitter so good marketing for you. We prefer the board. There are only so many hours in a day and to us Twitter is like many live video games one becomes addicted to like a Vegas gambler. There are now treatments for addicted to web video games. Sure many will get rich treating "Twitters!"

We know some Camz ladies that need treatment now. They interrupt shows to "Twitter" back on i-Phones!

All friendly smack aside, though...I wonder if there was a way to create an internal messaging app similar to Twitter or Laconi.ca (Twitter's open source twin) that could be fully integrated into websites or forums like this one. It certainly would be quite interesting to see the feedback between members.

Not that this board isn't probably still far and away the best venue to communicate...but you get the idea.

I don't have twitter or myspace. I HATE THEM.

It used to be when we first were messing around with this site that the girls refused to return phone calls unless you texted them.
Then the girls started communicating through myspace and using that as an excuse to not return calls.
Now.... the girls in porn are all using twitter to Direct Message each other. We just had our first Twitter porn cancellation.

Luckily Vicky does not have twitter on her phone. The sight of people sitting at coffee shops at a table of people engrossed with their IPhones twittering is not cool in my opinion.

I was reluctant to join twitter but gave in when the band I work for as photographer signed up and I'm glad I did I posted a link to some motorbike shots I'd taken and suddenly I got hundreds of motorbike fans following me from that I've made plenty of photo sales and got work through twitter. Now I have two twitter accounts I still have a facebook profile and I still have 2 myspage pages although I very rarely look at myspace now.

Facebook is a great application but they hate pornstars... girls like Vicky get deleted almost every day

Useful? Yes... replacement for picking up the phone and saying 'hey hun I am not showing up today?' I don't think so...

Twittering and Tweets, thanks but no thanks! The nearest I get to being a twitterer is continually hearing a 70 year old dementia guy at the hospital where I work. He's always making bird noises like a tweety bird or canary

I make noises at him just to shut him up!

Vicky. I wouldn't un follow you for the world. If i was going to un follow you for that then I would have no one to follow because all the girls whether in porn or some other part of the entertainment industry does the EXACT same thing. Shill their websites, cam shows and other forms of fanwank. So please don't feel guilty over promoting yourself and your website on Twitter or where ever else you use. I would be very sad if I could not follow my General anymore.

I personally think that "Twitter" is the most nonsensical thing I've seen. I have looked at it 2 or 3 times, but cannot make any sense of it. Why don't these people go outside and get some sun?? I don't use Facebook or myspace either. I guess it's a youth thing. I'm just not an internet chatter ('cept for here,

) As long as you post news, events, updates and schedules here, I'm happy. You, on the other hand, Vicky, almost need to do it just for that reason. To put yourself out there, you have to be aware of and use the technology.
