To all:

It is now 9:36PM PST Monday.

I know that I suffered a nervous breakdown this past weekend. It was brought on by the lack of money that I now have. It had a very dangerous effect on my type two diabetes. I am now EXTREMELY depressed. My depression is at an all time low. I am also completely exhausted in every possible way. I am totally stressed out. It is going to take a VERY long time for me to recover.

The fact that I have not been eating has made my blood sugars go up and down like an elevator. They have been down MUCH more than up. When they are down, I become depressed and very angry. I am prone to rage attacks.

The last full meal that I ate (before tonight) was this past Thursday. My next door neighbor gave me one of their frozen pizzas that I ate for dinner tonight. I had been living on nothing but canned chili and instant oatmeal.

I have an appointment with my mental health therapist this Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, she cannot prescripe me medications. I will not see my shrink until February 22.

I knew that something like this would happen. My GOD DAMNED MOTHER FUCKING family should have known too. If they did know, then they sure as HELL did not care!!

I could not go to a food bank on Monday. It was closed because it was Martn Luther King's Birthday. I will call the office of the mobile home park where I live to request a rent receipt on Tuesday. I will need that to qualify for the food bank. I will ask my In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) care giver, Paul, to drive me to the food bank this coming Wednesday. I do own a truck, but MUST conserve the gas that is in its tank.

I appreciate the updates, Boots. I cannoit even begin to imagine what you go thru on a daily basis. I don't know how to help you. Many of us have offered suggestions, but we don't know what you have tried and what difficulties you have had - beyond what you have told us here.

Saying something like "keep the faith" probably will do nothing for you, but I don't know what else to say. None of us here has had to endure what you live with on a daily basis. I like the things you say will happen this week.

Best of luck Wenesday and Thursday.

yunno Chris, sometimes the best way to help ourselves is by helping others. Here's a simple way:

http://www.beakidagain.ca

http://www.bigbrothers.com

and i know you can relate to this kind of help, we all need a big brother or big sister in our lives. you'll learn so much about yourself and about life just by helping a kid grow up.

here's a few things you can do, on the cheap: go to the park , throw the baseball around, go on a treasure hunt to find stuff you've placed the day before.

Water pistols. bike riding. ever riden a BigWheel? well these grownup 3 wheel bikes are just like that, take that kid around the park.

Gokart racing, horseback riding, you're in Fresno california there's tons you can do. and just sitting down talking about "stuff" is great too.

Show today's youth that there's more to life than being inside all the time and Wii sports and xbox games.

And before you click the reply button, i really want you to think about this. it won't cost much, sure you're in
dire straights right now, maybe the organisation can help you out too, and you can put it on your incometax forms as doing charity work.

Help a kid out and for a few hours a day, be a kid again.

At the risk of offending nearly everyone,I'm afaid I'm going to disagree with the sympathy trend.
krazy is not an integrated member of the site,he posts only on threads of his own devising and totally ignores the wide range of topics most of us make an attempt
to contribute to.Also all his threads lead directly to his state of woe,for me he is now tiresome ,he disregards all efforts to help and merely reiterates his self indulgent problems ,frankly although he posted that he comes here to escape them he simply brings them with him .In my opinion sympathy is all he desires, he is his own victim and glories in it.

HT:

It is the wrong time of year to go to the park. Here in Fresno, it will be raining every day this week. During the spring time, the park is the danger zone for me. I am highly allergic to most of the pollens that are in the air. Riding a bike is a no-go because of the arthritis in my left knee. I cannot bend my knee far enough to peddle a bike. I can barely walk because of the arthritis in my knee and back.

Vectis, if you don't like what is on the channel that you are watching, go to another or turn the TV off. Get my meaning?

Trio. I email Nina all of the time. I will say "Hi" for you in my next note!! Don't forget that she has a cam show tomorrow night!! It will be a solo show.

yeah i have allergies too, but take your meds an hour before going and bring a couple more in a ziplock bag. eye drops too. bring a roll of :tp: in your pocket for your nose. basic allergyarmy stuff.

You do know k4b that if you decide to go with bigbros it will take weeks maybe months until you actually get a kid bro ? hey atlest you can get your head stright a little and figure out what to do.

you gotta think of the kid you'd be helping.

the important is you start on this. you'll feel better by volonteering and helping others. doesn't have to be bigbros. You can also go to the church diners and potlucks, check the town hall or library bilboards for infos. maybe in the next few weeks their might be something. There must be a veterans hall too, i'm sure you could make friends there.

And other gatherings in your community. you don't have to know people to go, just smile and say hello. pay attention if they respond. And who knows you might make new friends, or atleast acquaintances in your town. if you see them at the store or the street say hello again.

they say the longuest journey begins with the 1st step.

the 1st step is always the hardest.

Well guess what? You went and sought out Paul and your therapist. that is already the 1st step. so its done !

you gotta be proud of yourself for that ! :clap

well imagine, if that helped you feel better because you took that 1st step, now you can take another step and feel even better than before.

keep the momentum going.

can you get on board with that ?
