Sorry, I had to miss todays show, Bobbi (Oct 19th.)

My nephew called this morning and needed me to drive a 29' U-Haul to Ruidoso and help him move someone. Ruidoso is in the mountains about 130 miles from here. Left here at 7am and got back 11:30 last nite. 6 hours round trip and the rest loading the trucks (two of them, 4 guys loading, and one was me.) After all that, then sitting and driving 3 hours back to El Paso, I could hardly get out of the truck. Even my TOES hurt.

I wear out pretty easily anymore, but I guess I did help some. Now today we have to UNload everything in El Paso. I mean, two 29' U-Haul trucks, I mean packed to the ceiling and right to the door, both of them.

Even my sore spots have sore spots.

So looking forward to next weeks show. Have a great week.

Hope you at least got free beer and pizza! lol.. it's just not moving, unless you have beer and pizza! That's what we're gonna have on Nov 10! Except we have to drive 10 hours each way up past Atlanta to finally go get the rest of our stuff! Yay, really looking forward to that! Dave in a UHaul truck and me driving the van! Yuck!

Yesterday, the "movee" in Ruidoso bought us outstanding Green Chili Burgers and fries (and soda.) Today was the pizza and soda (Yes on the beer, but this is my nephews business, so we can't really sit around swilling grog! )

For travel, I would suggest just keeping an eye on prices for awhile. Use the travel sites like Travelocity, etc. As far as prices for the show, Rokkerr sometimes gets prices of $20 vs $50 for the 3-day ticket. So, hold off on that until near show time, in case he does that again.

Yes Rokkerr can always get about 10 discounted tickets, so just let him know you want to be on the list! Let him know a few days before, so he'll get them for you.
