Spending time with family same thing every year dec 24 is just with my mom and dad and sister and brother-law and the kids then christmas day family comes over for a big big supper and a lot of drinking and snacks after and we watch the christmas story movie :)

I'm going to be spending CHRISTmas eve and CHRISTmas with the family on the 24th we are haveing a big ol fmily get together, then on the 25th will be spending the day with the immediate family and watching brookie & christian open CHRISTmas presents

As for me I will be going to my aunt's house for christmas eve since
she lives in the boston area her home is right across from the home
of Conan O'Brien's parents so we only get to see him from a distance
Christmas Day at my sisters and a Christmas Party at her sister inlaws
home Christmas night! I also took the week off from my job so I'll have 10 days off and I only used 4 vacation days. By the way thank you Vicky for all that you do for us I reallly enjoy being here thats for
sure!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a tradition in our family of making tamales every Christmas. As long as I can remember from my Grandmother then to my mother and now to my niece we have had a "Tamalada".
We all get together and start an assembly line of making the filling and making the masa (corn flour). All the old-timers (my sisters and Aunts and Nieces) cook and prepare the fillings and mix the masa. We have the spreaders who spread the masa onto the corn husks (Christine and I are in that bunch). Then on to the fillers who fill the prepared and spreaded husks. It's a tedious job but if you get a lot of folks together it can go pretty smoothly. Last Saturday was our tamale making party and we cranked out about 60 dozen of assorted tamales. We had beef, chicken, beef and potato, chili and cheese, pork and spicy pork. We always have a blast and it's a chance for all the relatives and family friends to get together and talk over old times. About 30 of us showed up. This is the one part of Christmas that I look forward to every year.
Tonight we're going over to my brother's house and have dinner, distribute the tamales and exchange gifts. This is another tradition we have. Tomorrow we're just gonna kick back at home and eat tamales all day.

It's now Xmas Day here in OZ, got off to a great start seeing Vicky and Carmen on CamWorld and C2C!
Thankyou ladies for a fun time today, made it worthwhile getting up at 4am to watch
My parents are away interstate celebrating Xmas with my 3 brothers so I'm at home getting ready for Xmas lunch with my work colleagues at the hospital where I work as a Nurse. Then I'll be doing an evening shift later in the day, home to bed then get up for Shanda's Xmas C2C tomorrow!

Benny, that sounds like great fun. Nothing like homemade food. There's a guy that comes to the local 7-11 every Saturday to sell homemade tamales from a cooler, about $1 each, in bags of 8 or 10. He sells beef, with red and green chili tamales. Lately the filling has been dropping off, but, they still are so much better than canned.

Those sound really great, Benny, If I'd have known, I'd have sent you some money to freeze me one of each for March.

Benny, i love mexican food, you might just have the best xmas tradition !
Good food brings people together and good people makes for the best get togethers of all.

For all of us who don't know what a Tamalada is, Tamalada means Tamale Party, which is where everybody gets together and makes mexican food, then enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Buñuelos reminds me of funnel cake at the pier. mmm mmm good!

lol HT. That pic is right on the mark. We always have the party the weekend before Christmas. What doesn't get cooked that day is taken home by my sisters, aunts and nieces and finished there. I don't know how to cook them so I just do my filling and wait til Christmas Eve to pick up my order. Like I said earlier, this is the part of Christmas that I look forward to the most.

Well, today everything happened as planned...only up until noon: Lunch with mom + godmother, and then back home where my gf spent the night [after a 5h(!!) sex...marathon! ]...

...But from afternoon onwards, things were kinda...loose: After sleeping like only 4 hours yesterday, and after all the...err...exercise ( ), my body was kinda numb / burned-out in like...128 spots or something! (lool!)...Well, later on me and Elena (my gf) went to her best friend's house to celebrate her name-day with her. On our way to her house, though, Elena had this pretty cool idea: To give my bj's on every red traffic-light that we stopped at...The thing is that it was...rush hour all day long today (x"mss shopping for most ppl, etc), so we couldnt avoid some rather...err...curious looks from nearby cars (lol!)...I pretended to be sending...sms-text with my mobile while she was...playing with the "big guy", but that didn't kept the other ppl from staring (or cheering in some cases-lool!)...

...Thank goodness she works at nights, or I would be typing this from the emergency room of some hospital or something (lol!)...Damn, I knew I should have become a porn-star and earn shit-loads of money!...Well, I aint too old to reconsider my career-options, huh! (roflmao!)...
