This next lass (I can say that because she's from up North) is a really nice lady (I met her at one of her gigs) - and a great guitarist too.

This is a great singer by the name of Storm Large here she is backed by the band Pink Martini, the song is "Amado Mio". Watch for:
Ms. Storms powerful performance
Ms. Storms sexy sensuous dance while she's singing and between verses (has me drooling)
The fact that at times the band ain't looking at their music they're drooling at Storm Large.

Pretty good grandpadaddy, like that Latin type stuff. Just found a great radio station on internet radio (if you don't have Tunedin radio app, strongly suggest you get it) which plays Italian songs from 60s & 70s - great stuff!!

I know that a lot of you probably like (c)rap music.
In Wales we have one of the world's best (c)rap bands - Goldie Looking Chain.
You won't understand much of this (even if you're from England) but here is one of there best - Newport is a medium sized town in East Wales.
Please feel to ask questions if you need to!

Back to proper music tomorrow.
Yes Hennar, my accent is a bit like this!!

Well PeterL I could understand you half of the time. Maybe that wouldn't be all bad! :icon_wink:

Since I was a lad I've been a big fan of Black Sabbath - the guys who invented heavy rock. I should add I mean Sabbath with Ozzy - the other singers were second best to him!
I also love burgers - bet you are wondering where this is going!

Well but the two together and you get Mac Sabbath!

OK, I know that MacDonalds are pretty awful but ............

For one day a serious post!
This is probably one of the most beautiful (yet simple) songs you will ever hear. It's a Welsh cradle song or lullaby. I hope you enjoy it and realise that Welsh is such a more beautiful poetic language than English!
It always brings tears to my eyes!

To be honest, I'm biased about this song - firstly it's sung in God's own language; secondly, the first time I heard it my daughter sang the first verse as a solo. It was one of those lump in throats moment.
However, it stands by itself as a beautiful song
