CAMS ~ Where the hell are all of the members??????????????

I started out with this forum page just wanting to thank Vicky for the awesome Christmas show and basically to wish her and Rokker a Merry Christmas. But, as I was logging in I noticed that there are at this time 1,706 members in the VNA. The strange thing about this is that there were only about 30 or 32 members watching this fantastic LIVE show. Where the fuck is everybody?? Now, I realize that it was Christmas and everyone has family commitments on this day and it is true that you would expect the numbers to be on the low side (maybe even the lowest out of the entire year) on 25 December....but it seems like it's always like this. I don't understand this at all. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MEMBER IS THE LIVE SHOWS but nobody is watching them. It can't be Vicky because the numbers are about the same as with all the other chicks. I have watched at least 1 show from every girl in the VNA and I like some of them better than others. I have my favorite girls just like everybody else does and if I can help it I try to watch as many Vicky Vett shows LIVE as I can possibly watch because as far as I'm concerned she is the hottest pornstar in the business. I also LOVE the audience participation and being able to comment on everything and read the texts of what everybody else thinks too. I admit that I hated the changeover a couple of months ago but now I'm used to it and I think it's great. I was a VNA member a couple of years ago and then I quit for about a year before coming back and Vicky used to draw 450-500 (even 600) members back then if I remember right. WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE?? The product that Vicky and Rokker but out is just as good as it's ever been. It's always fun and entertaining and I am amazed that they can come up with so many different themes where every week is different. Vicky is always BEAUTIFUL and has different clothes and music and props for the shows and I would think everybody SHOULD be coming back. I know she cares what her members think too because she comments and spends alot of time on this forum and her website (afterall it's her business). 3 or 4 months ago I wrote on this forum thing suggesting an shower show and what she might do and BOOM the next Sunday a shower show. How fucking cool is that??? Oh well, I've rambled on long enough....What does everybody else think??

Scott, it's good to see you back.

I think you might be comparing apples to oranges. First, my thinking is that 1706 (now 1712) is the number of people who have signed up to Vickys forum ever since she opened her site, not necessarily the number of current members. Sort the list by "joined" date (click on the column header,) and you will see the first sign-ups were in March of '05, 9 months before I signed up. In the first 4 months, 460 people signed up. (Yes, Prof. counted. ) Out of those 460, only 28% ever posted at least once.

Then, in comparing the 400 - 600 that you used to see at her camshows, those shows were on the Camz system. Her current system, (light-years better than Camz, now Cam World) is her own private system she purchased, and is only available to members. So, with Camz, you saw people from all over the world dropping in while, with the new system, it's members only.

Now, I'm sure Vicky and the ladies all have many more members at any point in time than the 30 - 50 that come to the cam shows. But, several comment minimumally or not at all. Some, you will notice, will log out somewhere during the show. I don't think they get bored, I think they come there to watch the girls, masturbate, then sign off. Nothing wrong with that, but we'd love for more to say hi and chat with us. Most of us don't bite and only a few of us are nuts (not Prof. , of course. )

So, my feeling is that a reasonable number of current members come to the shows and chat. Numerous more come to the shows and just watch (both being part of the 30 - 50 you see logged in to the cam show.) What percentage of the current membership is that? Only Vicky and Rokkerr know that answer.

So, remember that not all members are active, or active on the forum. Why don't more come to the cam shows? I can't figure that one, either. What better thrill when you join a site than to not only watch the performer put on a show for you, but actually talk to you by name and even mention you by name? Vicky doesn't understand why, either. Bless her heart, she tries so hard to convince people to come here and say Hi.

Hi Scott, so good to see you here. Speaking for myself, Christmas day I couldn't be here and I had explained to Vicky were I was at, and with her heart of gold she wished me well.

I personally haven't seen most of the girls, but for me it's the time of the day there on. I live in Alberta so most of the shows are during the day for me and I'm at work. I do get to Vicky's shows as much as I can. A lot of times I do just pop in for a few minutes, not to play with myself, but just to say hi and then be on my way again. Other times the shows aren't what I want to see, or I don't feel comfy and I go do something else. Sometimes I get caught up in the excitement of the show, but for me the best is the chat and I do hang out and chat with people I know after the show's over.

I couldn't have said it better myself Scott. I just don't understand, everyone says they want the shows but only 35 out of 1000's of members between us show up. Makes no sense to me either.... I know that a lot of people do watch the archives, but I wouldn't think it would be as good, because you don't know what someone typed or asked for to illicit the models response. I don't know. I know on thursdays Sara gets more signups than usual because we advertise her show with a newsletter, weekends I get more cause I advertise the sunday suck with my newsletter. It seems that people want it, maybe just knowing that it's available is enough.

I love the fact that every Lady does a show and i catch as many as i can. Like Julie some are during work for me,I'm in California, others just end up against other commitments i can not miss. I'm truly impressed by the Number of Europeans who make these shows give the time difference. and Aussie Steve must really have a whacked sleep schedule to make so of the shows i seem him at.
So long as Vicky and Crew offer shows i will make as many as i can. i do wish it was more but at least 4 a week seems to be likely

I think the main factor in this story is the INTERACTIVITY!
Means: How to get personal with a member <=> girl?
Very simple and difficult all in one:
Simple: The member can contact her on many ways. Board, Email, Twitter, FB, Yahoo......
Difficult: How many members can an actor contact in one day and how close can that contact be?
Every member has his fantasies in his brain, some are sexual related and some are love or friendship related and many, many reasons more, but all their fantasies & wishes want to be SATISFIED.
Simply said, that's impossible because there is not enough time to cover all.
Example: During one show there are 30-50 members, where 50 is the satiation mark app.
The girl can't read all messages in the chat without stopping her action. But if, some may not be satisfied.
If a member isn't that quick with the keyboard or can't read so fast he has no chance to get noticed by the girl. He/she may not be satisfied, then. Some members are more clever in placing an interesting theme than others and take more of the available time...etc...etc...
In a show, for the girl, it's like walking on a blade to keep the balance of all members with such different requests and to keep interactivity on highest level. Some are talented and some still have to learn for that.

The best example for mayhem is camworld (camz)! I always hated it to go there and came only to say hi to the VNA girl amd watch her. Too much trafic and no or very few interactivity. Not to mention of so many crazy & unpolite people there.

To come to a good end: Let me compare it with a gold digger standing in the cold river searching for nuggets. As the digger (Vicky) you have to look for the smalest nugget (member). 365/7/24 is a very long hard job. My respect! I spend 1 hour per day, plus the shows I'm watching at the VNA.

Btw, the newsletter is very good. I signed again for JuliaAnn. If you attach info from other girls I would be glad.
I would also be happy if changes of the schedule could be more in time, because most times I'll watch the shows deep in the night and have to set my alarm clock for that. Then, if there is no show you can imagine my feelings (grrr).

All I did was post a question to the members to get their opinion about my comments not to make everybody mad. John from NY, dude...I realize it's Christmas, that was why I started out by saying that it was Christmas and you would expect the numbers to be low. I was talking about numbers in general for all the shows for all of the girls not any one particular day. Laura and Sue, NO I don't work for the IRS (and even if I did I would never investigate Vicky Vett) and I just think you guys are trying to be difficult. Vicky (great comments) "I Love You", Julie from Alberta and other dudes....I know you are a great participant Julie I see you on the list of people all the time during shows and I realize that people work and stuff but the times of the shows do vary alot. Lots of the shows are on weekends or late or very late at night. If someone works 2nd shift they are probably screwed for watching Live shows. Walt, I was wrong apparently...I thought the 1700 people were current members of VNA. Well, I am very happy with my membership and I LOVE the shows and participating in them. Scott I think the real reason is the taboo still associated with porn. If they came to the shows, or posted on the forums they would be admitting to the fact that they are on porn site. lol... If they stay totally anonymous, they can still deny it to the wife or anyone else who may find out. They just want to stay completely invisible and download their porn and get off. It's ok I respect that. Their choice. I have a lot of friends even who are on the site, and even though they are my friends, because of jobs they have like working at a bank or government office, there is no way they can be involved with us.

I still don't really get the camshows though, cause you can log in as Tom Dick or Harry, and still be anonymous..... but Scott!

Don't let John bother you. I don't think he was trying to be sarcastic or anything, just trying to make comment on why not many were at some cam shows. But he hasn't been at many, I don't think, so he doesn't see the numbers on a regular basis. He was, I think, just making a general comment.

And, believe me, Laura and Sue were not trying to be sarcastic or smart-alec in the least. You have to learn their (warped? lol) sense of humor. No doubt in my mind they meant that remark in the greatest of humor.

Although, I was here for a very short time on Christmas Day -- and I posted on the board at 3:44 PM 16 minutes before my sister's family showed up. My sister and her family stayed to 10:30 P.M.

There is absolutely nobody in the VNA that I don't like and everyone gets to say what they think about stuff in this forum. That's what it's for and that is why I asked this simple question approximately 24 hours ago and look at all of the response it's getting. Also, I'm certainly not going to fault anyone for choosing their families over porn on Christmas. Lets take tonight, VNA members got to see an outstanding LIVE show with both Bobbi Eden and Puma Swede. All of us who were there got to participate in some great Live pornographic entertainment and I don't think there was one person who didn't like the show. True, there was a little technical glitch during the show but what the hell "Thats showbiz" and shit happens. It's not anybodys fault. There were alot of people signing in and out during the show but I think 50-55 or so members got some real value of their membership by participating in the show. Just think of what all of the other members MISSED by not seeing the show. Now, I know everyone is not going to watch every show (I only see 2 or 3 a week) and people have other stuff to do in their lives but I do think alot of members are missing out on some good free entertainment that they already paid for. Is it just me or did it feel like Bobbi and Puma's show was a breakthrough of sorts or a monumental step? I don't know why I feel like that except that there were over 50 people in attendance.

You made a very good point, as did Vicky and Walt. With such a variety of show times one would think there would be more viewers, but I think people's schedules - work, etc.. have something to do with it. I myself only get to see a few show a week. thankfully I have this week off and intend to catch as many shows as possible. I also wish I could make more time to check out updates but time is a factor for me also. The show last night was an exceptional one and very entertaining, and I hope boosts overall attendance for all of the ladies' future shows. I'm starting to ramble, so let me end this now.
